On Saturday, July 12th, 2003, Jessica D. Mcleod (aka "PurpleFeet") was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident trying to avoid a herd of cattle that had wandered onto the road. No one actually saw it happen - the group she was riding with came upon the accident moments later. Despite wearing a helmet and full gear, Jessica sustained severe head injuries which proved to be fatal. Anyone who knew her, remembers Jess to be a very safe rider, so we can only assume this was a freak occurance. Although she had only been riding for a relatively short time, her enthusiasm and love of riding was apparent to anybody she spoke to. Quick with a smile and always having nice things to say, her friendly, outgoing nature left a lasting impression with anyone she met.R.I.P. Jessica D. Mcleod - "PurpleFeet"
