so does anyone else want to count it down with me, 15 days left till i close, its funny 15 days and the seller is still trying to dick with me, i think they have realized they are losing out on a lot of money and they are trying to get me to back out, but im stubborn, its getting close so i am getting anxious, see ya guys tomorrow

In my first house purchase the seller decided to play games. We finally decided it wasn't worth our time and backed out after they paid us a hefty penalty. We later went by the house and some one else had bought it. Turns out that the seller had played games with them too, to the point where they brought a lawyer with them to the closing. His lawyer (buyer) and her lawyer (seller) got into a screaming match and started throwing things at each other across the closing table. I wish I could have been there. Good luck.

My closing was nice, it was weird i got this vibe that youre not suppose to talk to the home owners themselves but i had a good chat with them in the closing.

Now my loan person was a real jerk, he showed up and said "Can I just get the check i have somewhere else i need to be" Oh well learned a lot on my first home.....

Mine was nice and easy. I actually bought my house from a guy that I used to rent another house from years ago. Didn't know he owned the house until I showed up to look at it. He was real nice during the whole process and gave me his home phone # to call if I every had any questions about the house or anything. I was pretty shocked it went to smooth.

okay update time, looks like everybody is ready to close except the title company, long story short, will need a miracle to close by the 18th, those bastards. on the positive side my realtor is trying to swing it to where i can take possession with out having to close, which would put the pressure on to close and i would be living there for free.

so for now the count will be paused until i get word of a go.

but if you want you can count other things......

oh i am pushing, we are still trying to close on th 18th but i am just not going to keep my hopes up, the bank is loseing a lot of money on this house, plus they are paying all the closing costs, and today they said they were giving back the money i had to pay to have the house de-winterized and rewinterized because of all the bull crap thats going on, so yeah i am pushing, i think they are just a little unhappy about the transaction

I put in an offer on a house that I wanted....two days later they countered with that they would accept the offer as long as we agreed to close within 8 days (which only left 5 business days). My lender managed to push it all through, including the title company with no issues.

Nope, in your case, 8 glorious days left before closing. Leave the weather out of it. As far as you're concerned, there's smooth sailing all the way up to your closing.:)

Oh and yeah, since I've been teaching the whole binary conversion, hexadecimal conversion thing since '99, I know it is 0x8 and 1000 days left.
