Everyone,

I am pleased to announce the March 2007 dates for PMP's track orientation class.

The dates that are scheduled and confirmed are March 6 and March 22

I would ask that riders arrive around 9:30am and plan to begin the class at 10am

ALL CLASS DATES ARE WEATHER DEPENDANT! PLEASE CHECK THE WEATHER REPORT PRIOR TO LEAVING!

Please note that there MAY be an opportunity to schedule some additional time, however the track schedule is very full

The cost for the class is $149.00.

I would ask that anyone interested in signing up for either date reserve a space by contacting me at jlogalbo@msn.com

We are only going to allow 4 students per instructor, so please let me know first prior to arriving so that I can schedule enough instructors.

Please remember that this class is being offered as only one option to meet the new PMP rules. There are many groups offering these types of classes, such as the MRA. Those of you that can prove previous instruction (within 3 years) are exempt from the mandatory class requirement.

For those of you that are unable to attend either date may I also suggest that you look into the MRA class being held April 8th. More information can be found at www.mra-racing.org (http://www.mra-racing.org). I will also be listing the April schedule as soon as I can..

This is not a open track day!

Minimum gear requirements

Full Face Helmet with no signs of damage, windscreen must be attached to helmet
1 or 2 piece leather suit. If 2 piece the suit must have a zipper that runs all the way around the suit
**Textile suits, reguardless of the manufactor, are not permitted at PMP
Back protector
Gloves covering wrist
Boots providing coverage 8" above the ankle

Bike Preperation

All lights must be taped over or removed
Turn signals must be taped over or removed
Mirrors must be folded back or removed
NO LEAKING FLUIDS... THIS INCLUDES FORK SEALS
Tires must be in good condition

The class will cover everything needed to enjoy PMP this year.

If there are any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks

Joe

Just to be clear and hopefully avoid future questions.

PMP's insurance is requiring that all track riders have some sort of safety education as it applies to the track. This education must have been taken within the past 3 years

This class is NOT valid for a race license with the MRA or any other orgainization. It is being offered for those of you who do not wish to compete with the MRA and need credentials to do track days at PMP.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion, if not please let me know

Joe
