I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the inaugral Ladies' Gear Night at Performance Cycle last night. It was great to see and meet so many women riders and their supportive partners - the event couldn't have happened without you! I hope you all enjoyed the evening :D
I owe an enormous thanks to the following individuals;
Bernie, Don and the staff of Performance Cycle without whose support (& venue!) this would not have got off the ground. Thank YOU.
Michelle and Tim Buhler for bringing Michelle's Ducati and giving a truly first-rate bike maintenance demo - everyone walked away saying they'd learned something.
Alice Palmer, Felicia Waddell and Kelly Longwell for being such great sporting women, bringing their gear and bikes and answering so many questions!
Jurgen Wimbauer, Connie Kassel and Mike Pettiford for representing the rider training community and being willing to mingle and answer questions, seed ideas and inspire us all.
The event was such a success, we're planning on something bigger and better for next year's Ladies Gear Night. Imagine the fun! :)
We're also already working on plans for the next "All Woman" event....a track day with instructors on hand.....so watch this board for details :D
