Just got back from the Bourne movie. The most badass action packed movie I have seen all year! I suggest you go see it, and you need to see the first two also or it won't make sense... And read the books, they are even better...

+1, great movie..Went to the 10.45 am show and movie was 3/4 full. Action, action, action. The shakey camera was a little annoying...A must see...

Saw the sneak preview on Tuesday night with the press...
I've been spewing yummy goodness chunks over how good a movie it was ever since. Definite 4.5 out of 5 in my rating book.
And speaking of books...
Wait until you see the "book-jitsu" sequence! :)
Much goodness.

Ugh, it was alright...i swear they are starting be the same plot over and over...and this one really didnt have much of any twists.
CIA is after Bourne, someone at the CIA wants to help him, Bourne still is figuring out who he is, there is a car chase again with a dude that look very similar to the guy in the last one....
It was still a alright thriller....

If the soundtrack is as good as the other two, it's almost worth it to see it for the music. :D I still have yet to see Transformers, and my free tickets just expired. Doh!

Man, I really liked the plot. This movie follows the first and second one very well. And I mean, this movie maybe had 15-20minutes of non-heart pounding action. Loved it! A+ will see again I waited in line for over an hour, it was insane

Great movie - definitely worth the ten bucks on the big screen. I always need my shake-y camera of the week...

I think the shakey cam was done becuase the actions sequences were designed for character and plot development as well as action. Contrast with the steady cam work in Live Free or Die Hard, which I also enjoyed, becuase McClain is established. But Bourne is still seeking something.
The books, the originals, not the new authored ones are great. The plots don't nessasarily translate, as it is very Cold war era stuff, but the conflict between David Webb and Jason Bourse is impressive and well done.

Want to see it, loved the movies, but found the first book b o o r i n g. Yawn. And that's strange, because I love to read. Too slow. Ah well. Guess I'll get my tickets.:)

Went it saw it last night to make the S.O. happy. She really seemed to enjoy it, and a lot of the rest of the crowd was applauding at the end. I wasn't particularly impressed by it, however.
IMO, it was just another color-by-numbers action flick. Fights, flashbacks, more fights, predictable deaths by people with predicatable "do exactly what I say" foreshadowing, and oh.... waaaaaaay too extended chase scenes. I wouldn't care to watch it again. Having to have paid to see it this time, just soldifies my dislike unfortunately.
But then again, I don't really think I'm the target audience anyway. If you liked the first couple, you'll probably dig this one. The story never has captured me enough to endure the action scenes, and the suspense and action scenes (especially in this one, since I got to BIG SCREEN it) are nowhere near belivable enough to be entertaining to me. Excuse me for paying attention, but dude shouldn't have to duck driving in his car, while it's being shot to holy hell by somebody, just to be driving around moments later, with a perfectly shiney and undamaged windshield. And Mr. bad-ass CIA dude shouldn't be able to make a single phone call to confidently "secure a building", "put all cameras on the target", tap into nearly any and every phone or text message being sent around the world, but not be able to prevent a fucking outbound fax, from his own CIA training facility.
Just another example of a 10,000ft action movie, that probably will be a huge commercial success with audiences. Not my cup of tea though.
