According to an Invesco (http://www.invesco.com/) press release they announced the loss of Foreign Private Investor Status (http://www.invesco.com/newsroom/press_releases/2007_07_18.pdf) which means their shares are majority held by US based investors. They had 2Q reports on July 24th so its seems like business as usual.

They are still in business... they just don't have a huge local presence like they did when they won the bid on the naming rights. But INVESCO is worldwide and going strong with some of their portfolio managers and analysts located in the DTC office.....Locally, their Transfer Agency, has merged with their sister company, AIM Investments based out of Houston under the AMVESCAP umbrella out of Atlanta... so maybe they'll change the name ... but I HIGHLY doubt it, the cost $$$ is a ridiculous amount .... :dunno:...
