Cute! We've been wanting another dog for a long time but it's not quite time yet.

Where'd you get him?

He is from the Colorado Puppy Rescue, they take puppies from lots of different shelters and such to foster home them. Mack was born in Taos NM to a stray mother, someone took the puppies in and they brought a few up to Colorado.

Was a great experience with them, lots of free goodies and very friendly people. They don't have a actual shelter building (like Dumb Friends League) but they are all foster homed with families. Lots of volunteers here.

Suki, Yes he does! Puppy phase only lasts 5-6 months, but thats ok... I think he will help pull me along on hikes until my hip is fully recovered.

the adoption fee is between 75-125 bucks, depending on age

definitely worth it to go through credible adoption agencies rather than puppy stores at the mall. we got ours through a lady that rescues puppies from mexico, spayed in mexico is what it's called. she's located in aurora and had lots of dogs ranging from 8wks to a couple years that were in need of good homes. most adoption fees range from 75-100 and should cover the cost of up to date shots and sometimes spay/neutering.
