You know, a friend of mine lives in Fairbanks, Alaska and did the same thing in his Toyota pickup. He spent a day in the hosptial getting put back together. The Toyota was totalled. The moose went to the local homeless shelter because apparently they are good eating. Kind of like deer I hear.

A side note here.. I am almost 100% sure this is true.. The rail system out there has a 'wait list/line' where you put your name on it and when the train hits/kills a moose they'll call the person on the top of the list and tell you where they hit it so you can go get the 'meat'. (remains)

BTW I think this is the rail system that only has 1 track 1 way. (north and south)
