I camped out in Yankee Boy Basin this weekend with the family and some friends, and hiked Mt. Sneffels on sat. Definately a very cool hike, if any of you ever get the chance to do it, I highly recomed it. No pics yet, sorry, I havent downloaded them yet. Sitting at 14,000ft is a great thing, Ive been at 13,000ft before many times on my mt bike, but this was the first 14er.
I grew up in the S.F. Bay area, next to the ocean, spent a lot of time at the beach, been scuba diving, but sitting on top of the mountains takes the prize. We are truly blessed where we live!:up:
Sometimes I miss the ocean, and living within 2 hrs of Laguna Seca and Sears point/Infinion, but I only have to go for a trip in the San Juans to cure that.
