question about jacket

i bought a teknic jacket and when i bought it it was supposed to have a full circumference zipper and i never thought to check but then later on i realized it didnt. i was wondering if i was able to get a zipper sewn into the jacket so i could attach pants would that be a problem with track regulations? i wouldnt think it would.

Sewn in is fine, just be sure to find a place who specializes in leather goods.

Shoe shops are great for sewing leather. I've had jackets and bags fixed by them before.
