After Market Exhaust Help

Hello All I just installed my MIG Highmount today on my 02 f4i but the fackers sent me the wrong one. They sent me on for a 49 stater instead of one for my CA edition. Does anyone know if I can remove the stock o2 sensor and not install it on my new pipe? I ran the bike and it didnt back fire nor did it die . So Im curious any help or suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Well, it doesn't say anything in the service manual about the 02 sensor, except how to change it and test it. But I found this interesting bit of info by performing a Google search on "Honda F4i 02 sensor":

Thanks man appreciate it. That is the same response I got from Jeremy Toye of LEE's Cycle in CA who is a friend of mine. Well I ordered one so we will see if it helps.
