That's what many of us think. However the promoter felt different. I wish the show were here. Then I could work an IMS without having to get on a plane and flying to another IMS to do a show.

If they don't want to come here I won't miss the show. It might be in Vegas so I'm thinking rode trip.

"However the promoter felt different."
The fact that they brought the show here mid December probably didn't help.

When I went to the last show, in Denver, it appeared to be quite busy. It seemed like all the booth space was taken up. You can get an idea of what kind of vendors are at the show by looking at the floor plan layout on the link I listed above. There are some booths available for local vendors, and most dealers try and work their brands. Perhaps this might be a good question to pose to a few dealer reps that cruise this board?

i loved the shows in dallas and fort worth. tons of deals on gear and junk, plus it was nice to see the new bikes and vintage ones aswell.

It wasn't a bike show, but I got a killer deal on my bed liner and topper at an RV show a few years back. Saved over 500 on what I would have paid had I walked in the showroom. Some things, by contract, are price locked so as not to start bidding wars between manufacturing and retailers.
