Bumping this up.
I had Clarkie run my YZ450F Supermoto on it yesterday. The info told me I was right where I wanted to be with my jetting, and the Yamahauler put down 52.6 hp.& 33.7 ft-lbs. Good info, pretty much tells me no top end needed this winter! :yay:

I am going to take the KTM up tomorrow and see where it is at. :hump:

I am taking the Honda there. When it pulls 20HP & 17 ft-lbs, you are going to feel real bad that you never lapped me this year.

I will also have the PW50 there. Should we see how much that puts out?

If I never lapped you it is because you pulled off the track when you saw it coming. But now I know why my bike scared you when you rode it. :siesta:

IIRC the boys suziwaki 250's are putting out around 33.

I don't know if the PW could spin it

I'll be there hopefully on the DRZ. I am going to leave the 16T counter sprocket on there with the taller Distanzias. Should be good for about 26 hp.

Gearing wont change the hp :)

Not at the engine, but it will change it at the wheel, won't it? I'll have to do some research and find out which will be closest to a 1:1

4th and 5th gear runs show the same hp when graphed over rpm, I can 'make' the dyno read higher or lower but I dont play those games like some do :)

Would it change torque or just move the curve?

lets find out with your Ktoom :)

Well… just got back from doing some dyno runs at Epic Motosports. I have to say that the guys there are very nice and I am grateful for their generosity. It was cool talking to them and hanging out.
The results are better than expected, the corrected value for hp was 110.57 and the uncorrected 96.19...:)
Although the bike is running very rich it did well for a big old 99 Bandit at altitude. Clarkie told me that there are a lot of variations from dyno to dyno, and conditions; but still, it’s a good estimate.
As far as modifications go, I have installed a Yosh end can, K&N air filter, and shimmed the needles.
Here are the dyno sheets:

Good time today, hung out all day and ate fat bombs (donuts) and burgers, sniffed a lot of fumes and watched a crap load of runs.
Nice to see all that showed up, and big  to the Springs guys that made the trek.
Thanks to Kevin, Mike and Aaron for the great day and the valuable info.

See you Tards at the track!

'Dyno King' for the day was a sweet ZX10 making mid 150's, as a comparison a couple of Busa's (both with pipes), a 07 R1 (Yosh slip-ons), and a 05 GSXR (all stock) all made low to mid 150's.

Shocker of the day was Filo's CRF250X that almost reached 30hp so he has no excuses now :alien: the stock DRZ400 made 36ish, the Ktoom 450 was an utter disappointment to us all, but with Bjorn making up for it with his riding he will still smoke us all at the track.

The fun stuff happened when I made Mike run all the Meth powered Banshee's, man when those things come on the pipe the are sick. A bunch of Ducs turned up to play, including doing a break-in on a Hypermotard with 3 miles on it, breaking a brand new (less than 10 miles) bike in on the dyno will make a huge difference.

Good times on a chilly day :siesta:

Sorry I had to pull and split. My parents-n-law were on their way up from the Springs. I didn't have enough time to pick the leaves off the yard before they showed up. Thanks so much for the free pull, and the free bolt! Sounds like you kinda saved my butt. I'll post pics and I got a vid of the old busa and R1 running. Doesn't quite show the real fury in person.

It's all groovy, glad I found your shift lever just loose rather than missing :)

Sorry we missed you guys. We tried to get up there with the 07 R1 and the FZ600. The FZ600 needed a little love today. Ended up spending about 4 hours working on it trying to make it up there but just did not make the deadline.

And heres the sniffer rising out of the Busa's exhaust. Thought it was going to come out and get caught in the wheel for a while.

Thanks to all that made it up for the dyno day. The weather could have been better, but still a great turn out. We had a great time and I even got to ride a brand new hyper-motard (thanks Steve). We hope to see you all at our next event!

Thanks guys for the free pull. Our ride up was a little chilly, but a ride is better than no ride!! Was decent weather for our ride back to the Springs though. Thanks again guys!!
