SO I was laid off from my Job in CO Springs October 2nd. As many have heard, the mortgage/real estate/title industry markets have been hit hard with job losses. Well I am one of the many casualties.
Looking at the posts in this section, there are lots of technical/computer related jobs. Anyone know of anythning available or coming up in management?

Not in Mgmt, but I have a project management oriented job in DT Denver. Although, PM me if you would like, for my email addy, and I will get a copy of your resume.
Are you hoping to find something in the Springs or would you consider commuting to Denver? You also may want to clarify your post with your job related skills to give others an idea of your background in case they know of anything.
Suki, BTW, you would be perfect if you could work full time.

Ahhh, the mortgage business. Good luck finding some decent work. It is nice to see the members helping each other out.

Yea dude the Mortgage business is absolutely gone. I had to get a 2nd job to support my family and myself and I still barely get by cause my mom was in the mortgage business as well but she hasn't made many closings. Thanks to all those thieves and selfish people now millions are suffering great losses, it's messed up.

Yeah, the mortgage business is tough. I was laid off Oct 10th when Countrywide closed my branch... the bastards didn't give anyone the chance to transfer to the remaining branch in Englewood. I wasn't exactly looking forward to a damn near 200 mile a day round trip commute though.
Anyhow, I went litterly 3 buildings over to First National Mortgage Sources. Cool people, seems like a good company thus far all though I wish the lead quality was better. So far the loans I'm working on are referrals and people that followed me from Countrywide.
My buddy, Jeff, in California was just transfered today. His branch was the one staying open but apparently that changed last Friday, about half of his office was let go, the other half transfered.
It'll get better though :)

If any of you folks from the mortgage industry are interested in sales (financial & insurance products) send me a PM for job info. We are seeing a lot of people from your industry and we have offices in Denver and CO Springs.
