SPEED Goes High Definition

SPEED will make its move to High Definition in 2008, beginning Feb. 7 with 100 hours of NASCAR (http://www.speedtv.com/articles/auto/autoindustry/40671/#) on SPEED HD from Daytona Speedweeks.

Does anyone know if Speedtv will also televise Motogp, AMA and WSBK in HD next year? I hope they decide to and not just televise NASCAR. For the stunters out there the Super Bike weekly show will be in HD.

Probably not, with all of the HD going to NASCAR. I'm sure MotoGP,AMA and WSBK are going to be shown in Dial-up.

I really hope Speed does, I would love to see some professional motorcycle racing in HD! :hump:I think it would definently increase their ratings even more.
