Not sure if anyone on here will meet the requirements, but I thought I'd put it out there just in case.


NORTHCOM C2BMC Operations and Support Staff, Schriever AFB, CO

L-3 Communications, Intelligence Solutions Division has immediate openings for personnel experienced with Missile Defense Command and Control systems. Must have experience with complex problem solving and troubleshooting of DoD communications and computer systems. Technical experience should include: internal CISCO/Juniper routing and switching, Sidewinder firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), COMSEC loading, Air Defense System Integrator (ADSI), PROMINA multi-service switching equipment, SIPRNET/NIPRNET, Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), POTS, and STU III/STE telephones. Software engineering experience should include UNIX, SOLARIS, MS Active Directory and Exchange Server.

Successful candidate must be a team builder, and possess outstanding written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills. Candidate should possess the ability to work with and possibly manage a small staff of experienced IT engineers. Candidate must be a self-starting program solver with the ability to work with military and civilian personnel in a potential high stress situation with limited supervision. Education: Appropriate engineering degree from an accredited college or an equivalent number of years experience Security Clearance: SECRET/TOP SECRET

The descriptions are always more involved then the actual job on these DoD contracts. For some additional info, the pay range should be about $63k-$68k a year (that is based off what is currently being paid for those positions). Skill set and negotiations could effect that either way.

I'm still in for a couple more years, but have a stronger background in the Intel Analyst field. Sounds too strong of an IT position
