I'm assuming you're talking motorcycle insurance...

Not knowing your situation, it's hard to say what kind of deals you're going to find.

Check w/ State Farm

I pay 300 bucks a year for full coverage on an '06 ZX-14.

Call my guy:

State Farm
Mark Peters
303-755-3220

Please tell him that Scott sent you.

He's beaten every price I've ever gotten for insurance and provided the best service I've ever had as well. His staff is friendly and outstanding.

I pay $510 a year for my 07 R1 ($250 deduc, full coverage, gap coverage) through Allstate. Eliot Hardy 303-663-1485 - Outstanding service and staff. I've had him for over four years now.

I'd also recommend Allan Wachtel of State Farm - Another outstanding agent - 20+ years w/ Statefarm - (303) 755-6451

$225 a year full coverage on my 2007 Suzuki GSXR1000 $250 deductible. Motorcycles on my policy were grandfathered in because I have been with them 10 plus years. New policy holders can't insure bikes now. USAA baby!

not sure what the bad rap is against geico..4 bikes and 1 atv insured through them. 1)07 moto guzzi Norge, 2)08 klr's, 1)06 250 ninja, 1) 02 honda 400ex all fully covered for 242.00 per year..500 deductible.

If you weren't trying to rip-off Geico, then you wouldn't have any bad feelings toward them when they raise doubts.

Since the other thread got locked and this one kind of parallels it, I'll just add; FWIW my ex was a fraud investigator for State Farm and although most interested in the high dollar claims, they would go after anything suspicious and regularly dealt with professional fraud artists. They are resourceful and unrelenting. They would rather loose $ on the cost of the investigation than to pay a fraudulent claim. They also maintain a good working relationship with the police departments in their territories.
Not all insurance companies employ extensive investigative divisions, but the big ones do.

How does asking for a different insurance company lead to defrauding the old one?
I didn't like gieco not one day since I was with them and since I never get into accidents having insurance is nothing more than a monthly expense that I have to pay. I went with the cheapest one. But speculate all you want to about what happened or what is happening. I can see now that this forum isn't for me anymore. To many trolls, dickheads, callow little liberals. I don't mean all of you but the majority of you that talk shit because you are keyboard commandos and safe but in real life never had the balls to say this shit to my face can keep the place. I will take one last look around to see how to cancel my name on here but if I can't I will just enter the idle folder with all the others that couldn't deal with your venting. Its not our fault you have little dicks and are 5' 5". Sorry your so damn important in your own minds that you can't get along with anybody. Thanks for the help from those that helped. Fuck the rest of you bitches.

DofD - I have Progressive for car & bike and I can't say enough good things about them when you have a claim. When my brother's bike got stolen in Chicago, he called his rep. and the rep. did everything - even picked up his bike from the police impound when it was found(totaled), and mailed him a check for more than it was worth. My bro. didn't do anything but call the rep. I had a similar situation with my car; just called the rep. and they took care of everything. That said, I'd probably switch to State Farm if the rates are the same or lower.

Normally I wouldn't chime in on this, cause insurance isn't exactly something I've been known to make a killing on, when it comes to savings.... But I have to gloss Progressive. Every renewal I've had with them, has resulted in lower rates for me. And I'm pretty much the last person on Earth who should ever get a hook-up on insurance.

I'm down to sub $100/month for full coverage on my A4. Sure, I'm rocking the $500/deduct. but still.... This is coming from somebody who has been suspended like 5 times. This rate is lightyears better than what I ever expected to get, when I was playing "worst case scenario" in my head. And by the time I get a streetbike again, all my tickets should be cleared with them, and hopefully they kick in a good multi-vehicle rate for me.

+1 for Progressive.

Hey Scott, Thanks for the tip! I called Mark Peters' office and got Denise(I think) on the phone. I just got a quote from her and it was 1/4th the rate I got from Geico and 1/10th what Progressive wanted. I was worried about it until I found this thread. Now I'm back on track. I did mention the Club and your name.
