Cool beans. I rode my TransAlp to work yesterday morning. 15.5 degrees around Niwot. I have Gerbing's gear though so I'm generally warm enough except that the left glove has a short (or the sleeve has a short) so it only works part of the time.

You can get a Fog City liner for your helmet shield which stops the fogging to about 16 or 17 degrees. After that you should look at a Froggy face shield because your breath will freeze on contact with the Fog City liner anyway :)

It was a beautiful morning for a ride though :)

Rode my Honda Metro to work this morning. 15 deg. Its only 1.5 miles. I rapped trailer house heat tape around the coolent hose, cilender, and under the carb. Also have a battery tender under the seat. Starts nice.

heated gear would be nice, it was not too bad, the jacket was fine, hands were cold a bit, heated grips on a gsxr? maybe a V-Strom or SV....

sweet. yeah i rode a week ago or last week or thanksgiving time, 30ish. nothing as cold as what you were saying. and yes cold as hell.. good stuff, ride! no snow its great riding conditions.
