I'm sorry to hear of your bad experience. If you are still looking for a new bike, I assure you they will beat any other dealership and I can personally set up a meeting for you. I promise you wont be ignored if you mention you are there for the CSC special. Chris and the guys at Coyote want to do everything they can to be the best shop in town. PM me if you are interested as I dont want this thread to fill up with our personal conversation.

That was unfair to post that. I only went in once and should have stayed longer than I did if I wanted service. I will take that down.

ok i tell you what, you figure out the deal from GP and then go into Coyote. You might be surprised at the deal Chris would be willing to give you. Just explain that you work for GP, they are giving you XXX deal and tell them you heard about Coyote on the CSC. Its worth a try, plus you might just end up saving money. If not, then nothing lost right?

I think the guy works for GP...so a little different situation perhaps.

BTW- You're doing a hell of a job getting this whole sponsorship thing Casey...a little more smoozing and you can get a factory ride at this rate...heh. J/K.

I understand that he works for GP. Honestly, I think its still worth the time to check Coyote.

As for the comment, I spoke with Coyote about how we can help the CSC guys. I really like this site and the people on here. They came back with making a great deal, so I just simply passed the word along for them. Im not doing this promo for myself, its only to help out the CSC crowd. If you are looking for a new bike, this is the place to go, bottom line. Im not just trying to get people in there to reference my name and kiss ass with Coyote, trust me I dont get any incentives on any sales. I just thought i'd try and help some people out on this forum and create a relationship between the CSC group and Coyote Motorsports.

Thanks for the support cdog! The deal we run is special for csc members. Can another dealership match our deal? Maybe? But if they can ,why don't they offer it up front? It would be easy for any dealership to ride on our coat tails! Besides we are cooler to deal with! And we ride too! Just trying to help out our fellow and local riders! Thanks for all the support!-NORI

If they can get me a better deal on a new FZ1, i'll get from Coyote in a heartbeat. Coyote may not being able to go lower on the price (because I get close to cost), but I wonder if they would give me more for my trade. Any contact numbers I can have to see what they will do?

Also, I can see if GPM can do a deal for the club or maybe parts discounts.

P.S. The GPM comment was just a joke, I can hardly stand that place and I work there lol.

Nope, it had to be me. My carpenter uncle who has lost fingers to saws could count on one hand the number of times I have driven to Denver around rush hour but yesterday was one of them. I went to meet Bueller to pick up some stuff I bought from him and I was heading south on 25 a few minutes after the sinkhole opened up. Northbound 25 was, in all seriousness, a parking lot with people out of their cars. So, I figured on the way back I'd head east to Colorado Blvd and go north to 270. It still took me two hours to get home. :(

ok i tell you what, you figure out the deal from GP and then go into Coyote.

then bring that offer into Vickery and well blow it out of the water! ha ha

in all seriousness, all dealers get the same cost on everything, its just a matter of how much profit they can afford to lose on deals like this. Besides price, it comes down to where you want to buy your bike. Which has the best service dept? Which sales staff treats you the best? Whos got your parts in stock? Which place tells you one price on the phone, then tries to sucker you into another price when you get there? Which place's entire staff is composed of riders? All of those factors should contribute to your decision of where to buy a bike. If you get better service and experience at one shop, why not buy there if theyre not the lowest price?

regardless, ive come to find out its all a big game competing for price between dealerships. I love the people that shop every single dealership in the state, waste all their time over $100, then complain that they got terrible service and would never buy from that shop again...even though they just contributed to that shops future and methods.

At the end of last summer, Vickery was named #1 in retail volume ranking status by Yamaha and #4 in CSI (customer satisfaction index) out of 280 shops in the entire midwest region. Coyote was #57 and #188 respectively. Grand Prix was #77 and #207 respectively. Colorado Powersports Denver was #71 and #88 respectively. GForce was #60 and #249. Vickery has never been out sold on Yamahas in the last 20 years to boot.

Dont think of this as bashing other shops, but as contributing to your decision of where to buy your next bike. #1 out of 280? damn right im going to brag about that.

ps ryno24, give me a call on that FZ1 cuz i got a smokin deal on em.

Sounds like bashing to me! But anyway he is right. Go to the dealership that treats you the best! Coyote will treat you the best and we have the best mechanics in the state! bar- none! Vickery has been around 20 years and that is why they are #1 in sales. Coyote has been in business only 4 years and is #2 sales right behind the 20 year dealer! Coyote is #1 in sportbike sales ( that's #1 folks-ahead of Vickery) Give us a few more years (less than 20) and we will be #1! Maybe even this year!
Again go to the dealership that treats you right! Come to Coyote and I WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT PERSONALLY!!

Hey Ryan, if you guys are doing so well why no response for my sponsorship request? not even a reply?

Anyways, after you go to Vickery head over to the shop that shows their support not only for racers but also the street crowd. Again, Chris is here to make special offers for the CSC family. Take him up on this, you might just find your new favorite shop. Great bikes and even better staff. Expect to see them not only down at the race track but also many other local events, where they will be showing their support for the street crowd alike. Just something you dont see from other shops. Sure, other shops can hop on behind and try to mimick what Coyote offers, but look who stepped up first with the offer. Coyote isn't trying to copy other dealerships, they are leading the way!

Glad to see this, and I hope it's legit. Over the years that they've been here, Coyote press has been hit and miss, and historically I've kinda been a big detractor.

Hopefully times and/or staff has changed, because they certainly didn't do the sportbike riding public (or me), any favors, with the mark-up they wanted to charge, back when I bought my, (then) new 2004 R1. Think $4000 over MSRP, which was justified to me by the ever so caviler Sales Manager, who said. "Well... we can sell it to somebody else for that, so..."

So anyway, if Coyote really is giving geniune hook-ups to CSC'ers, good on them. Put them to task on it, score a great deal, and hopefully their increased sales will reflect it. If it's just lip service, then I guess "caveat emptor".

:reserves judgement:

I'm with ya Barn. I tried to buy a bike there last year. They wouldn't haggle the price and had a very "high and mighty" attitude. So I went to CO Powersports and saved a bunch of money on the same bike.

Good news on the adjustments. I just hope they are for real.

Since I'm never in the mood for a Yamaha, I didn't look at Coyote last time I purchased a bike. And since I wanted a Suzuki I didn't go to Vickery either. I don't have experience with either, but I will say this:

cost needs to be weighed against customer service (to include pre- and post- sales support, maintenance, etc) Sometimes you get what you pay for...

Just to clear some stuff up. I never said GPM was great or was doing well. I work there yes, do I like there no lol. That place has so many issues and problems, whiny people, non negotiating sales mangers etc... Hell Coyote is willing to give my the SAME price on a 2008 FZ1 as GPM would do on a 2007. I think I am going to take Vickery's price on there old stocker FZ1 though. I should also add, that I am looking for a new job too, because that place lol.

Well this has certainly turned into quite the debate. I appreciate everyones feedback! I will say this- If you have been to Coyote and have had a "bad experience" I will step up and apoligize on the behalf of Coyote.
I hope any "nay-sayers" will put me to the test. I look forward to proving them wrong, but more importantly providing great service!!
Wishing Everyone A Great and Safe Riding Season.
It will be here before you know it!

hey Nori, where did you get those figures from? Im looking at all my info and i dont see Coyote anywhere near me...

I dont want to get into bickering fits with other dealers, I said what i wanted to say. I just wanted to show everyone that Vickery is a great place to buy a bike, and by the numbers ive shown, a lot of other people agree. The customer is going to make their own mind up, not by what we say on the internet, but by what we do in the store. So, by all rights, come in and find out, you wont be disappointed.

why dont you do this on your own thread then? like we said, any dealership can jump on behind coyote and copy what they are already doing. as you can see, coyote made the first step. you are just jumpin on the bandwagon copying what was already done.

why didn't you make a special offer for the CSC guys? i mean, you've been around 20 years right? i think you are just trying to take advantage of a deal that someone else came up with first.

I know one way to solve this..... DEALERSHIP SMACKDOWN!!!! Lol. All dealerships will out-do the other one usually. I go where the price is cheapest and thats about as far as that goes. Right now, Vickery has the best price by far, and even my OWN STORE likes them a lot and compliments what they have done.

thanks man. i didn't put this up so other guys could copy but thats bound to happen. all i was trying to do was extend the offer Coyote has made for the CSC group. obviously you will get some people who get jealous and wish they did this first, but whatever. go to vickery if you want. the problem i see is this:
one shop sells more then anyone in the state. why would that shop need to do anything special to get people in the door? they dont, they already sell alot.
another shop has only been open a couple years and they want to prove what they are made of. take them up on the offer and you will see they are probably willing to do more then a shop that has no problem with sales.

dragos,
i hope youre joking. Where in this entire thread does it say im copying coyote or jumping on any bandwagon? Ive been extending CSC deals since i first started working here years ago, some of them were publically advertised, some werent. The people that spoke up and came to buy a bike got a better experience here than they did anywhere else, and thats why they bought from me.
But thats not why i chimed in on this thread. I spoke up because of the exact opposite of what you said, the special things that we do ARE what get people in the door, and we do them well. Despite what you may think, its a lot more than just a cheap price. Its the total experience from start to finish. From the phone call or email, to the showroom visit, to the buying experience, to the parts dept, to the service dept, to the follow up call or thank you letter...the whole experience. Sure, all places have their faults at one point or another, but what that place does to rectify that problem and make sure it doesnt happen again, is what separates the good from the bad. And everyone here stands behind that notion and will do our best to make sure that happens time and time again, and thats why were number 1.
So you can accuse me of copying and jumping on all the bandwagons you want, but I know im not, and anyone reading this knows I dont have to, and theyll make up their mind where to shop. Im done posting on your thread, its all yours.

dragos13
Fri Feb 15th, 2008, 02:22 PM
I would think a shop of your caliber wouldn't even need to post on this thread period. Were you trying to prove something? Show that you are better then this shop? I never asked for your sales figures, or anything else you have so far provided. Im happy you guys are number 1. Thats awesome for you and for Vickery.

Now back to the point of this thread, check out Coyote before you make your next bike purchase. Even if you dont want a new Yamaha, they carry alot of pre-owned bikes from other makers. Whatever you want, just be sure to give Chris a call. It will be worth your time. Also, if you wanna get to know some of the guys at Coyote, make sure to come to the first Brothers BBQ event. Coyote (Chris and Jared) are going to be hooking up some awesome product for hand out and for the the free raffle. Come check them out, and catch a great race also.
