Looking to get more lever action rifles. Would like to get a 45-70 or a 44-40, but will consider most others for a fair price.
I'm not too much on the gold plated Henry's (.22) though.

What you got?!

Check around on the Cowboy Action Shooting websites.
They're pretty much responsible for keeping lever action guns in pistol calibers alive.

If you're interested in doing CAS then try to match your rifle with the caliber you'd use for your pistols.
Uberti and several others make reproductions of the classic levers.

I like the Marlin 1894 and the Winchester 1892.
My favorite is the Win. 1894. I'm restoring a 112 year old one in .32-40.
The '94 is a long cartridge action though and it's a waste to get one in pistol caliber.
BTW, If you do get an old one, make sure it's OK for smokeless powder too.

^ You would know about a website called sassnet. Silly goose.

On topic, my fave was the Browning 22L I had when younger. I will see if I can grab some info on it.

I got rid of all my guns but one when I moved up here. Most were common and I can replace them sometime in the future.
I figure now to try and get some I want to start over with.

This is the only one I kept out of all of them.

the best 22 lever action I think you can buy is a marlin golden 22-a. it has a gold trigger. extremely accurate. a bit pricey but one of the most accurate ever made
