Ok come to find out the guy wanted to charge close to $500 for a bracket, mid pipe and shortening of the pipe.
Any fabricators out there?
or anyone who has done this before so I can get some demensions off you for a bracket?

How to shorten your exhaust

The bracket will be the easiest part. I'd get a thin peice of alumimun that you can cut/snip easy and mock something up.

Same with the mide-pipe. Get some cardboard tube and mock it up. Then go to Mineke and have them do the tubing for you.

Would anyone happen to know what a good length is before I have to remap the bike or get a PC3? Or does it even matter??

I have an 04 636 with a high mount. I am in Colorado Springs but if you want to stop by and take some measurements let me know. I have the Mig which has a very nice bracket.
