Hey ladies

SCR's recorded message says tonight is Ladies' Only night at SCR, 5pm to dusk  (That's ladies only on the track, we can bring our male crew/cheer squad/eye candy if we like, but they have to stay in the pits ;) )

Damn, wish I'd known sooner, I'd have ridden to work :( Next time. I'm checking with Bob whether this will be a weekly or bi-weekly thing, I'll let you know as soon as I hear back.

Who would be up for next time?

BTW, Memorial Day w/e Sun 5/25 is motorcycles only at SCR....

Hey ladies, Bob just confirmed, through September, alternate Tuesday nights are ladies only on the track :D It is for cars and bikes, but I'm sure if it gets busy, Bob will stagger the two.

Next Ladies' only will be Tuesday May 20th. Hope to see you there!

i hope you are right and it was just the weather, that's why there was no one there. i would hate for them to get rid of ladies night altogether because of no ladies using the time... :(

TT600grl,

With most frame sliders for this bike, you need to drill a hole into the fairing. Found this today though - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34284&item=2418239732 - don't have to cut with these!

Ladies, just an FYI - those carbon frame sliders with the aluminum cap (as seen in the ebay auction link above) are more for show than for the track (in fact, they can cause serious damage  ). For the '03 R6, you shouldn't have to cut any bodywork (if it's like the new generation R1). Here is a link to some frame sliders which truly are function over form (from Intuitive Race Products (http://www.inturace.com/default.htm)):

tt600grl, I was going to PM you with this info, but then I thought others might benefit from it. Hope you don't mind me chiming in.

My 520 conversion kit should arrive today, so I'll be scooting home at 4 to get that onto the bike. Barring any hiccups, which are entirely possible, I should be there by 6 latest :D

who hiccuped? :x :(

Huh :?

I ended up at TK at 1630 getting the 520 conversion done ready for Pueblo tomorrow. Just as we finished, the skies opened. I waited for the downpour to lighten up, then rode home to drop off the laptop, by which time it was 1930. Sorry, but I would have got to SCR at 2000!
