It should be a blast. It hardly feels like I am working during the open houses. The Dyno should be cool too.

That is also the impression when they are not having an open house.

Shhh, they may be monitoring my posts lmao.

P.S. do you drive a white RAM? I think I have seen you a couple times when I pull the Rangers and Rhinos back.

It should be a pretty cool party. I wanna dyno the Fazer and see what the real HP is, not what Yamaha "says" it is.

Dingleberns is handling the MRA meet and greet so check with him if he needs more bikes there.

2002 Stock no mods 117.7HP, Max AIR/FUEL 17.5
After BSR jet-kit 123.4HP, Max AIR/FUEl 17.5
The dyno shows the added HP on the top end at 110MPH
The low end is smoother, with smaller HP gains at 55MPH and 76MPH.

I did this back in 02' after I got my new Gen1. I imagine yours would be similar if it is still a stocker...I still have the print out if you would like to see it sometime.
I think I'm gonna make this event, maybe I'll luck out and get a free dyno for a comparison (six years later)...and a few more mods...
Just saw you have an 07', so they wont be similar at all..

My FZ1 did 121hp at the wheel on the Dyno. My bro's FZ6 did 83hp on the dyno.

The dyno was a good time. Saw a GSX-R 1000 put down 191HP. The CBR id OK, not great but I am happy with it :)

Sun May 18th, 2008, 12:02 PM
There are rumors that GXS-R 1000 did not really make 191hp, because at the end of the day they said the strongest was this 08 busa I saw get dynoed at 171hp.

Clarkie
Sun May 18th, 2008, 02:49 PM
that GSXR in question made 143hp, he told me it would make the most power at 160'F, i got off the bike and told him it made the best 'power' at 190'F, people get butt hurt then lie about what their bikes really made.

now that Busa that made 171hp, that impressed me!

Who was that guy that was yelling out 190hp on his GSXR1000? I was like wtf...... lol.... I dyno'd at a very surprising 98.30 hp bone stock. I thought I was gonna be in the low 90's to high 80's. It was a fun day though, sucks the turnout wasn't all that great but good seeing some of you out there.

I saw that too!!!That Guy was telling me that he was hitting the low 9s at Band. Raceway on the 1/4 mile. The Dyno guy was saying his engine temp was 191-195. He was actually running at 174 to 175hp which is still sweet. that bike was a total sleeper. :horse:Dynoman was beating my R6 which I got a 100 - 99.6 actually. which is great since it is all stock.. :)

nope, the bike did 143 on my dyno on Sat, he the guy haddnt torn up his dyno graph he would have been able to show everyone what his stock bike did, it wasnt a pooch, it just made what stock bikes make on my dyno.

Stock 07 with the mufflers pulled off made 151hp, which is what stock 07's with mufflers pulled off (with stock mufflers it would have made 155hp, he lost hp by pulling the mufflers off) make on my dyno..........makes my 07 SBK that makes 203hp even more impressive eh :alien:

He's gotta be up there around 60-70 mph.
(For those keeping score at home, that was total sarcasm. Clarkie moves faster than a stripper through an 8 ball.)

So, Clarkie, I am working on a laptop for ya, how can we safely get my bike to stop running lean at low RPM's :)

BTW: I hit 96.7 HP on the dyno and was pretty happy with that. Considering that they supposedly had 117 at sea level when new :)

Dunno, I usually have my eyes closed by the end of the straight :)

My SS bike touches 182mph i think from when Glen had the radar gun there (dont have the speedo hooked up), I have to gear the SBK motor 1 tooth taller...

This is a well-known effect of special relativity at those speeds called Lorentz contraction (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FitzGerald-Lorentz_contraction). http://www.boulder.swri.edu/%7Eterrell/images/goofy.gif
