Im starting to think the place is a shithole myself. So, what says you we find a new meeting spot. I dont know the good places around here but im up for suggestions and so are most people I have talked to.

On further thought if this Ive noticed some thing about some of the ppl that go there. Maybe if you treated the wait staff with more courtisy and respect youd get your stuff faster. If you dont get your burger 30 sec after you order dont start crying. And if they bring something out and you have been waiting for something pay attention. That is where most of the wait is comming from. Ive satthere and watched the waitress bring food and no one even look her way. I dunno maybe im not rich and dont expect to be waited on hand and foot. When you have a large group things slow down. I guess if we all expect the best service in the Springs we need to go to the broadmoore(sp).
I have been in the Springs since Sep 2002 and there hasnt been a place here i havnt complained about. Maybe ive lowered my standards. The whole reason for this was to get Springs folks together and have a good time. I guess us in the Springs are too good for that.

If someone wants to take this and run with it by all means. For stickers and tee-shirts i guess youll have to go to Denver for that stuff. Ive tried to be the go between guy for you guys and all ive had since is flack. So i quit. And who ever wants to step up to the plate and use your free time to help this club let me know and ill give you all the info that you need.

The hub I have been there a few times, it is very expensive, and the food is nasty. They are usually rude to us if we are not getting on of there $50 car washes. This is a place that I would not think about using, unless you want to pay $10 for a nasty burger, and I am not even sure if they serve beer.

You can't make everyone happy all the time. Why is the Springs group always trying to self destruct? You are just starting to get a group of people attending + starting to know when/where each week + you want to change it? I thought the reason everyone got together was for the company not the quick service, Hell your going to be there the same amount of time does it really matter what part of that you eat your burger in?

I think it's great that we are meeting but where were meeting ''sucks''. I've been to 2 meetings at Overtime It's either packed with jocks or It's dead , both times service and price blew . There are a ton of options here in springs , I think with a little planning we can find a spot that would be more comfortable and willing to work with us on all levels . I can reserve a room at Lone Star steak house for special events with a weeks notice , holiday's I need alot more notice and we can order off the menu. It would be a little pricey so we wouldnt want to do it all the time but every once in a while would be cool . My suggestions are , Meadow Muffins (colorado Blvd.), Johny's (Tejon) ..................

Briz - I may only speek for a few but I have appreacaited (sp) what you have done for us.
Abut the overtime - I am there everyweek and the service my be a litle slow but I just adjusted. Notice I order a pitcher of soda when I first arive ;) , no more waiting!!! She has always charged me the price of a cup. And because most people seem to cheep to tip you may bring a little slow service on yourself. :oops: I always tip some - good or bad service, and my food and drink seem to get quicker every time.
As for moving to another location - we can always try. But if you dont treat the waitstaff any better I sure the service will be the same. :|

5.00 tip the first time 2.00 the second time next time the tip will be ''Dont eat yellow snow'' :lol: .. I ordered 2 drafts and a Corona for $13.75 plus tip of 2.00 at that price we could go to the broadmore! . The first time I ordered 1 coke and a pack of cigs waited 30 min for both , then asked for my bill waited 30min then waited another 30min for her to come get her pen and reciept , she got a 5.00 tip ... It was like a bad episode of Seinfeld ! I am expressing my opinion towards Overtime and do want to thank briz for his dedication to us and the club , he does deserve that ....This debate as far as im concerned has nothing to do with briz .A meeting spot is a meeting spot . If we keep having good turn outs why settle for a place that ''sucks''..............

---I’m 100% with Brandon, Overtime is a fucking dump, its ridiculous that we don’t even get a discount at this place. They should give us that pit area so we can socialize (no one else is using it) another thing is the food that shit is nasty, the prices are not all that appealing and for the amount of people that we have in the meetings.. we should at least have two to three people serving us, I'm all about giving a good tip.. if i get the service. It just seems like they are not willing to work with us at all and don’t care if we show up or not. So to be honest with you, I’m done with that place.
I’m really happy that people are showing up, but with the set up in Overtime we are confined to talking to the person directly in front of us or to our side.

yea, the service may not be the best, but when you have one person for 20 people, yea its not gonna be the best. im fine with keeping it there. i say we try somewhere else just for the sake of it. explore our options. the few people that i have brought there said that it wasnt the best time either. Old C's on woodman and I-25 has an upstairs that they sometimes save for large groups. thats my opinion. they usually set you up with 2 servers. its a big difference from austin bluffs old c's to the woodman one. and its right off the highway so the people that are down south have an easy way to get there.

Wow......You can really see the true personalities of some of the people in these posts......Is there an age limit on being a member of CSC? Drama Drama. I would say have the next meeting at "OT" those that are concerned Get There at the 7:00 time and all sit down like adults and come to a conclusion. There are several places in town that can accomidate 20+ groups however you need a place that will do a large group with individual billing, not add gratuity (altho this might solve the tipping issue), and willing to put up with the BS. Someone might want to check on the Empire Asian Buffet (I don't know if they serve beer) there's a large variety of food, several separate rooms, + you won't have to wait on service. $6-$7 pp and your done. Or even the Pizza place on Carfree + Academy again you pay as you enter + eat what/when you want. The Old C's on AB + Academy also has a private room (we used it for a bach. party w/the strippers) that can provide seperate checks + our own waitress, However they will add Grat to the indiv. checks.

i talked to the manager today about it, he had to go to his higher manager. i am going to get a call monday or tuesday about it and see what i can work out. while i was there i was comparing it to the overtime. i got a burger that was cheaper, larger and more fries. plenty of good service and HOTTIES!!! ones that seem more like a real person than a doornail. i will let you know the progress on it.

I just read through this entire thread again. Guess I started a shitstorm or something. I may be new to the forum and to colorado and all, but I think anyone on the board should have a voice right along w/ the next guy. Maybe I came off a bit strong by saying some of the things I did in my initial post, but Briz knows how I am and he has given me plenty of shit, so I gave him some back.

Ive been kicked off of forums before, and it wouldnt suprise me if I get kicked off of this one someday. I dont have the patience for other people telling me what I can and cannot do or where I should go etc. (ITS THE FUCKING INTERNET PEOPLE!) I dont care if u have been a member of CSC for a month or for 10 years, I dont think you should be judged by that. The whole purpose of us meeting every Thursday is......well, exatly that! We get together to have introductions, share stories, and have a few laughs (and beers) It's all about the members, not the location.

We tried Old C's on Austin Bluffs and it didn't work out. So we moved to OT, but that doesn't seem to be working out for everyone either. So let's try another spot. I really don't care where it is as long as I still get to hang out with everyone on Thursdays. :cheers:

I can't believe I just wasted 10 minutes of my life reading this nonsense.

Guys, it's simple. If you've given the chosen establishment-du-jour a fair chance and still feel it sucks, go somewhere else. However you might talk to the manager and see what you can work out. Or, if the price and food are that shitty, try someplace else - but you might see if they'll give you a CSC discount. We have $2 beer at Breck and though not official, they have hooked more of us up on food than I can recount. Jillians discounts their beer and other stuff for us (unsure of the amount though). Generally, restaurants are more than happy to handle a recurrent group of people and make it worth their while to come back, but you have to ask. Don't go in there demanding it or you will find the response to be less than ideal; just ask like a mature adult-like person, and see where it gets you. If they say no, and can't sort out the service issues, then you're not any worse than before and now you know instead of this bickering and guessing.

If the overtime place doesn't work out, I bet you can get some sort of deal worked out with old c's or some other similar establishment (you might try brewpubs and stuff like that too).

You guys don't approach the wait staff in the same way you conduct the threads on the topic do you? Please tell me you don't... :|

i didn't read all of this thread, but i think we should move the meetings to friday night. thursdays no 1 can stay out to late because work the next day and i have to watch my kid cause wife has school M-Thurs in the evening. not saying that people don't work on saturdays but i think more people have saturday off than friday. just because the Denver folks have theirs on thursday doesn't mean we have to.

To sum it all up, move it to friday so i can go.

What do I want out of a motorcycle club? I want to meet at a place where we get good service and discounts. Also I want to be part of a club that has so many bikes in it that fills up the parking lot. (50 or 60 bikes). ;) I would like to have so many bikes in the parking lot that cars run into each other when they see that we own the joint. Just like when Briz took me to Denver and the guys just parked their bikes on the side of the road and people passed by and just were amazed at how many bikes were there.

What the Springs needs is another meeting place rather than Shell. Too many ricers, too many cops, and too many beefs with said ricers.
