Never washed, always wiped clean and waxed after every single ride, including the wheels.
Damn, Im lucky if I can get a hose on my SV after a week of riding. Lucky bastard.

are the trees that green in alamosa this time of year? looks like a come-on-down/beat-yer-head-in-with-a-bat/steal-yer-wallet scam.
i'd stay far away from that post. $13k? bullshit.
the 2007's are still $14k.

If you go, be sure to go in a group...seems scammish to me, but who knows, maybe someone's just desperate to unload the bike to pay bills.

It seems a helluva lot closer to legit than most. If I were in the market, I would take a serious look. A lot of times people "with money", don't care terribly about making back every last penny that they've invested. Something fair, quick, and off their list of cares, is all they're really worried about.
I hope somebody here scores this, if it's genuine.

People "with money" also don't need to unload brand new bikes with only 730 miles. They can sit in the garage for a few years while they play with the rest of their toys.

True... But I'm not talking about "celebrity" wealthy here, I'm just talking about the well-to-do.
Sure, people with more money than they know what to do with, can sit on purchases, buy fine art, donate huge $$ to charity, and still not care about the hundreds of thousands (or millions) they have in reserve. I'm just talking more realistically about the big (or dual) income types, that make a decent amount more than they spend each month.
I know I wouldn't want to sit on a $x00.00/month payment for a vehicle that I'm not really into anymore, even if I do have a couple 2 or 3 grand "disposable" each month. I mean that's a pretty good chunk of change, that could go towards whatever other toy du jour is tickling their fancy. And at the same time, it's probably not worth their time, to nit-picking over $500-$1000, if you just want it gone.
Like I said, I don't know if it's a scam or not, but it seems way more plausable than most, and if it wasn't, it wouldn't surprise me. Especially considering that they're not in a major city, and that a likely buyer would actually have to make an effort-of-sorts to pursue the purchase. (read: travel)
I like to think it's like the people that I bought my Audi from. Obviously a successful couple, lived in a nice big home, new cars. Clearly had things going their way, but they weren't the Elways either. Dude had the car CraigListed at $7200. It blue-booked closer to $8500; and when I showed up at their house during a dinner party they were hosting, he only hesitated for a second, when I said I could write him a check for $6200. Probably helped that he looked like he was on his 8th glass of merlot, but it just wasn't that big of deal to care about such a nominal amount.
Now if this guy had this Duc listed for $10k, then I would be super suspicious. But who knows. We may never know.

Lol, "Never been washed", what does that guy think the dealerships do once they un-crate them...
