SUBJECT: Systems Analyst/Developer Position Open
The Office of Faculty Affairs at the University of Colorado at Boulder is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Systems Analyst/Developer.
This professional exempt position will report to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Faculty Affairs and will work closely with the Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor who has oversight responsibility for the Faculty Information System (FIS) to provide leadership and technical computing support for faculty data to various administrative groups including the Office of the Provost, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research/Dean of the Graduate School and the Office for Faculty Affairs.
This position will be engaged in the development and management of systems and data and will require combined skills of business process analysis, programming and database administration.
The Systems Analyst/Developer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing current functionality of FIS, analyzing business practices around faculty data and recommending viable improvements, developing and implementing new functionality and streamlining access and use of FIS and related systems. This position will be solely responsible for technical workings of FIS and other faculty data projects and requires close interaction with the creators and consumers of faculty data. This position is expected to provide leadership as to how to best use our technical resources to enhance the information available about faculty and is considered the primary technical expert for Academic Affairs to address faculty data issues.
The starting salary for this position will be within the range of $55,000 to $68,000 per year, depending on qualifications, plus an excellent benefits package.
