I just need to get a new thermostat installed. The one we have is old and all you can do is turn on the heat. We need one that will allow us to just run the fan on the furnace without running the heat. A nice post-eighties programmable one would be nice. :)

Anyone here with the knowledge and equipment to do this? With the age of the existing thermostat, I am assuming that it is only a two-wire application, so there may be some wiring involved depending on what is used to upgrade.

Thanks for the contacts and the offers, but I just found out that my furnace isn't even capable of doing what I was trying to do with a new thermostat. Thanks anyway.
