My company is hiring for a business analyst in our corporate office in Broomfield.

Title: Business Analyst
Position Reports To: Director of Marketing
POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Business Analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis and business planning support for surgery center development and acquisition opportunities. In addition, the Analyst may be required to support on other special internal projects from time to time. The Analyst will be required to work within business development teams and independently. Periodic travel may be required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
New Business Development
q Maintain Customer communication to the extent required.
q Assist in the data collection process to include stakeholder interviews and/or surveys, customer data, and market information.
q Tabulate and analyze data on target opportunity.
q Analyze trends regarding operational data, including fixed and variable expenses, charges, and payors.
q Prepare cost comparisons regarding performance of healthcare facilities.
q Prepare financial projections to include: capital budget, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and rate of returns and supporting worksheets and assumptions.
q Develop conclusions and recommendations as to the viability and structure of the project.
q Prepare summary business plan/feasibility assessment for customer and investment package for the Board.
q Responsible for project duties to include development and maintenance of schedules, arranging physician interviews, drafting correspondence, and drafting and managing work plans.
q Support Business Development Executives as necessary during the organization formation phase of a new business initiative to include liaising with legal counsel, reviewing legal documents, assembling private placement memorandums, preparing investor presentations, and meeting with prospective investors.
q Manage special projects as requested, including but not limited to cost accounting projects, capital budgeting analysis, contribution margin analysis, and financial comparisons.
q Acquisition and international new business opportunity assessment support as required.
q Develop and maintain good working relationships across all Health Inventures functional areas to include information systems, financial, and clinical management and support personnel.

q Participate on internal committees, focusing on service line development, Information Technology solutions, operations improvement, and interdependent partnering.
q Perform special tasks and analyses as required for all functional areas to include business development, operations, Information Technology, and accounting/finance.

Education:
q A bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance or MBA from an accredited university or college.
Experience:
q Two years financial analyst or accounting experience.
q Healthcare experience desirable.
Work Environment:
q Professional office environment, occasional business travel.
