I ride everyday to work, from around Southlands Mall to around Westminster Mall.
You HAVE to bring that to IMI this Sunday. I promise you will have fun. Show up at 7:30ish. For info, see the thread above, or call me at 303.513.0311
Canyon rides from my house aren't very appetizing with my 2x4 disguised as a seat, so I stick with commuting and a form of slow riding that I call "racing."

I commute on a '88 NX 250.
Does that qualify?
It really doesn't like the dirt at all.
Really!
I must admit it is probably the most fun
I have had in quite a while just getting
to and from work.

That's probably the closest that Honda has ever come to a motard.
Bring that out on Sunday as well, please!
I need more guys out there with street-tards!
These guys with their racebikes are making me look slow.
Ok, I don't need much help looking slow...
but it WOULD be more fun with more bikes of the same lb/hp ratio.

Holy Poo!
I just realized that as of yesterday, I have FINALLY reached 100 posts!!!
And it only took 6 years!
That's about what Barn, Sully and Pilot do in 1 day.
EDIT:
Sorry to thread-jack..
So, is your NX white or blue??
How many miles on it?

I'll have to check out IMI this week. I'm dying to get this thing on the track! If you guys ever want to meet up for a ride, I'm in Broomfield.
What are the tech requirements for IMI?

For the SuperMotoShootout races, you can run your bike exactly as it is.
If you're bored, you could remove the license plate and mirror, and tape over all your lights. The blue painter's tape is perfect. Should take you about 10 minutes. I'll bring some tape and we can do it at the track.
For gear, you need a helmet, gloves, boots, and either a leather suit or motocross gear.
What you could do is bring everything out, pay your $10 at the gate on Sunday, and just talk to other riders. If you feel comfortable, then pay an additional 35-ish, and suit up and play. Otherwise you get to watch some fun racing.

I'll definately come check it out. I had gotten out of riding, and sold all my gear/bikes about 2 years ago, and this is my first scooter since. I haven't gotten my leathers together yet. Currently jacket/gloves/helmet, and looking for some boots.... Thanks for all the offers of help. I can't wait to get rolling on some Sunday night racing!
