How much is track night? And what are the times? I'm definitely thinking I am going to go. Ever since the race class this past weekend I am going to be a track addict!!!!

Do you need to be there right at 5? Or can you get there a little later? Do they accept CC's? Dunno if I have enough cash. Oh yeah ... and if a guy just wants to come to watch, is that chill?

Hi Christine :) , track day starts at 5 but you don't really have to be there exactly at 5. Not sure about the Cash/CC thing, but I'll be calling Bob (the track manager to find out and I'll post it) I'm pretty sure spectators are welcome...the main thing is that its a ladies track day and so no guys riding the track that's all. I'm doing my damnedest......we have clients in from Thailand today, so I had to drive in to work (crumpled suit pulled out of a tank bag doesn't go over too well at SI :lol: ) but if there's any way I can get out early, run home and get out to SCR in time, you KNOW I'll do it :D

Tonight at SCR was a total blast! It was hell of alot of fun being on that track this afternoon.

Christine, very nice meeting you :), that is one sweet bike you have there missy. We need to make this ladies track day a habit.

Hanna, thank you so much for showing us our lines :D it helped immensely! specially with that double apex turn!

Jessica, you just rocked out there! you did really awesome for your first time out on the track. I see a track addict in the making...don't ya think girls?

The best part of all of this was having the track all to ourselves :D :D :D What a deal! We definitely have to take advantage of this...so it's a date ladies, every other Tuesday night the track is OURS!

SCR for 2.5 hours with only 4 bikes on the track all night = pretty close to heaven, in my book :D I had a BLAST :D

You're all most welcome for the advice & showing you the line, glad what little knowledge I have helped you guys :) - but now that you know your way around the track, no overtaking me, OK? :lol:

Marilou, I wholeheartedly apologize for that pass in turn 1 - that was totally my bad :oops: I should have waited until after the turn to pass you rather than stuffing it up the inside - I knew I could safely pass you going into it, but it probably didn't feel that way to you. I had my "chase that bike down, outbrake it into the corner" hat on, and this wasn't the right time/place to do that :puppy: Sorry.

Christine, you are gonna be tough lady to get around and you're holding your line really well. You really made me work on my passing. We should do that more often :D I get the feeling we'll be dicing it up here in pretty short order ;)

Normally the line you took was what i usually would take on that particular turn...but in the back of my mind i knew you were right behind me and ready to pass, so instead of concentrating on my line...i was trying to figure out where you were going to pass me. Now, that's my own fault...so in short, that threw me off my line wherein i should've just held it. :D

Don't think i'll be making it on the 15th :cry: I'll still be in California during that time for Laguna Seca...woohoo :bananna: I will make it on the 29th though! I can't wait! :D

Yeah, it kinda surprised me that suddenly you left the door wide open for me :D A good lesson for all of us :) ; never, ever, ever worry about the person coming up behind - it's their job to get past safely. Whatever you do, hold your line - trying to get "out of the way" just makes you a moving, unpredictable target :shock: very unnerving for the person who's closing in on your tail.

I will TOTALLY be there on the 15th! Man, I had soooo much fun! I'm thinking that maybe next season, if I get enough track time in this season, to start racing? Dunno ... I'm a complete track addict now! I'm glad I made you work for your passing since you are such a stud out there anyway!!!

It was awesome meeting a couple more female riders! We are going to have sooo much fun at the ladies track night! I can't wait for more time out there! Gotta get the knee all the way down, not just a little scrape here and there :D
