N-C Ride Friday, February 10, 2005?

Just curious if anyone is planning on going for a ride on Friday. Work permitting, I may head out for a bit--probably after lunch. No particular destination in mind, although it would probably involve routes between Golden and Estes Park ;). I need to get out and check out my suspension post Marcus Magic.

Any road condition updates?

Last Sunday I took the Excursion down 93 to 72 up to Wondervu (had a great luch @ the cafe) and then on to 119 to Central City/Blackhawk. It was snowing at the time and the big trucks were being generous with the gravel on all those roads. Be safe if you go up there. :)

I would love to go and get some break in miles on the new scooter but probably cannot until Saturday afternnon or any time Sunday. :(

No biggie...the roads kinda sucked anyway. I went up GGC and down CoalCC. Both have quite a bit of sand, particularly, but not exclusively, in the corners. It was a nice putt through the hills, but it really didn't tell me much about my suspension adjustments. The video sucked too...batteries on my helmet cam were running low. At least I have an idea of how long they last and what the video looks like when the batteries are about shot--very interesting.

The best part of the day was harrassing Gramps :lol:
