Well I have just taken the plunge into the cesspool of "Home Ownership". I have just finished my move to HR, and am now located between University and Broadway. Who are the local peeps in this area? Any gatherhings at the Pillage Inn @ Broadway for morning groceries? :D Once I get a bit more settled and warmer, I will be having a TeePee warming party for the crowd..... :guinness:  :silly: Seems like a lot of Minivans with midgets around my neighborhood, need to liven up the place. :D

Sup Vif, long time ... you just moved down the street, heh -- I'm over near Broadway and the HRP off of Burntwood. You're now in wheelie proximity of Tonee/Craig, Jim, Jeremy, Dana and Melanie as well.

SOunds like you are right by Dana: he is halfway between Broadway and University off of Dad Clark as well. I am over off of Foothills Canyon, basically right behind the Westridge Rec center. And Slacker should be about 10 minutes due south of me (if you are where I think you are that is).
There are so many SUV's around here-expensive ones too. After two years of living here and driving Saturn's, we now have an Audi and a Tahoe....watch out, before you know it, you will be running around in your own SUV with midgets. However, be prepared, I have found out from the local highschoolers that one must be able to provide their high school age child with a Honda of some sort, and be prepared to arrive at soccer or football games in a vehicle no more than 5 years old. Should the father be driving the child, he must be driving his midlife crisis car (usually a Corvette of some sort, but never a C5 or a 6 speed, those would be too fast).

I'm in highlands ranch, you'll commonly see me riding my red 954 with no lower fairings (black lower fairings are being painted right now WOOT). Anyway, if you see me I'm usually on one wheel, I also have a F2 street fighter stunt bike with MX handlebars and a gay cheetah fabric seat.

Try something like www.highlandsranch.com or hrca.org (I think that is the parks and rec site). Also, there are quarterly events magazines that I think have some info in them too. I can show ya some of the stuff out this way sometime too.

Counting down the days until I'm out of Engle-hood and back into Littleton proper! WHOOT!
It may not be Highlands Ranch... but its certainly a vast improvement over living in a place where I fear for my car's nightly safety!

Awesome, Chris and I have really loved it here so far......we found a new place today for some cool meets!!
DIRK'S......huge, open, pool tables with all sorts of stuff for our little meets here in the South. The staff and food was pretty damn good with awesome pricing. They are located at University and Dry Creek.....shall we have a meet? 8)

So as of a month ago, I was officially a proud Highlands Ranch homeowner. As of today, we officially have everything out of our rental and into the new place. Now I just have to unpack...and clean...and put all my stuff up...and finish month end at work...and and and.
I think I might need to be meeting you for one of those brews sometime soon!
And Christina, since you played such a big part in this, you should come over and check out the new place sometime...I will show you the before and after pics of what we have done!

For future reference, DO NOT allow Mr. Black to drink long island iced tea's too quickly. He will hump your leg.

(Just kidding guys) I love Firelight as much as I love hippies. As a matter of fact, we are killing a couple of hippies this weekend in an Ice-T, "Surviving the Game" kind of party in the Peoples Republic of Boulder. Come and join us!! I am bringing punch and pie!!

hehe, just start storing them in the basement...it worked for Cartman! Though Boulder seems to work well for containing them too.
And to Dana, Firelight would be the evil that is keeping the properties in the remainder of Highlands Ranch from appreciating at the same ungodly rate as the rest of Denver/Colorado.
