HEY you guys, there will be plenty of people there to get you the CARD discount. I have one and I know several others will be there with them as well. It means the cost drop from 45 to 36. Hope that helps with your decision :D
See ya at SCR on Sunday.

Oh! I assumed you already had them and just needed to put them on.
Mine sat on my garage shelf for a year until I got the guts to cut holes in my plastics. Wasn't any big deal and looks like the holes were molded in from the factory.

The discount card Polar mentioned applies only at SCR (normally $45 to ride for half-day; discount card reduces it to $36). I believe there is another thread concerning a track day and BBQ at SCR this weekend as well.
This thread (at present) is about meeting at BP (287 & Baseline) in Lafayette, then deciding whether to ride in the hills or go to IMI (which may also include a BBQ).

Taz: You can probably pick up a set at several of the local bike shops (e.g., Performance, TK, TFOG, dealerships, etc.) -- they're a fairly commonly stocked item. They might cost a bit more locally than you could find online, but if you want them NOW the local shops are probably your only choice. Alternatively, you could make it a point to take it easy on Sunday and not crash, in which case the sliders would be for cosmetic purposes only :D

As an FYI, I called IMI today to verify that they were open to sportbikes this Sunday. He said that they were, however, he also told me that they raised their rates to $25 as of the first of the year. Was someone told $20 recently, or were we all going on the assumption that the rates were the same as last year?

See, I'm planning on doing SCR on Saturday, and don't think I can pull off back-to-back track days, but I'd still like to ride on Sunday, and promised somebody a ride also.

Go East 1.75 miles (track is on South side).Just an FYI to those that haven't been there before, the 1.75 miles is a gravel road. It's really not a big deal...just didn't want anyone freaking out when they get off I25 and see gravel. Just take it slow and easy and you'll be fine
As a second FYI, the directions Taz gave are correct, however the picture map in the link is not. I guess Google can't do everything. The location is actually on the yellow road about 2.5 miles north of the indicator on the map, to the right of the RR track shown.

It's actually better to take the frontage road to the next road south of the Erie exit, then east, north and back west about 1/4 mile. You don't have to ride nearly as far on dirt that way, but if you haven't tried that route, it might be kind of confusing.
Better to leave that way after coming in on the main road so you'll know for next time.

I agree 100%, but due to it being a bit more complex to describe, didn't suggest it. You can actually get off I25 at Hwy 7 (Exit 229), take the east frontage road about 2 miles to Weld County Road (WCR) 6 (there will be a low spot in the road and a few buildings at the intersection). Turn right. It is then pavement going two miles east to WCR 13, then a semi-gravel, but well packed road going north to WCR 8, then only 1/4 mile on real gravel going back west to the track. Not difficult once you've done it, but sounds more complicated. If you're the adventurous type, give it a try. If you miss the turn-off to WCR 6, the next stop sign will be WCR 8 (Exit 232) as described originally.
