Anyone Getting Out This Weekend? (4/2-4/3)

Weather report says it's supposed to be 65-70 all weekend.... was wondering if anyone had any plans to get out for a little ride. I'm still trying to learn where the good roads are... so I'm looking to tag along if there's anybody gettin' out.

I might be down to ride around... um town.
I'm still slow and can't keep up so i avoid the mountains and the race track.. I'd rather chill at the Sonic on 120th and Washington, up here in my hood.. T-Town that is.

I just might. I have not had a chance to go out with a lot of you Northern peeps yet. I just hope that a lot of the gravel is gone. I wi.ll keep checking back here to see what is up and let you all know :)

Don't know if I'll make it out this weekend or not, but if you just need some guidance on good roads, here's a link: http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/local/rides.html. The northern-central routes are #15 - #20.

Keep in mind that just because the road is a good road, doesn't mean that it won't be covered with gravel with the recent snows they've been getting in the hills.

I doubt that I can get the bike going by this weekend. Depends if I can take out the old ignition assembly and install the new ignition and gas cap by then :x

My GT is still out east in storage... haven't brought her out here yet... scared of the weather... and no place to put her... haven't decided if I'm staying, so I don't have a place with the garage space right now. Maybe when the summer rolls around... but I'll keep the offer in mind. :lol:

My vote is for Sunday, between 10-10:30 at the BP in Lafayette (Baseline and Hwy 287). I'm open to any other suggestions, though. If more people are down to ride on Saturday, I could prolly work that out.

Oh, and where is everyone planning to ride? I have heard that anything west of C-470 sucks and is quite dangerous because of the gravel. Though I am all about getting out to ride, I do not feel the need to have an incident because of it.

Welp, just got back from my ride. Took off today around 4'ish and road out around Second Creek, took 76 to 70 West and broke off at 58 towards Golden.

Hit the intersection with 6 and 93, but decided to keep going up West to (you guessed it)... Blackhawk. :D

Didn't stop and play any, but went up into Central City and hit the Raceway... err.... Central City Parkway, out to 70.

Cruised out by Jillians for a few, and then headed back home to Brighton via 76.

Sorry I missed out on the AM ride, but at least I didn't blow the entire day. :lol:
