Aurora Speed Trap

I putted right through, but a couple cars who insisted on proving their mettle against my bike got bit on Chambers road (funny story actually, but I'll save it as it's one of those you tell around the bar-table to pass time).

All day there've been shooters at each end, one at Hampden and one at Quincy with an unmarked out of view at the top of the rise (by the Excelsior entrance) with his trusty handheld stopsign. Both times I rode past he had 2 - 3 bikes lined up.

I guess Aurora PD likes the weather.

They always sit there on nice days.. normally they're between iliff and quincy, atleast one if not more.

They also like to sit on smokey hill east bound from quincy to chambers around the curve.. haven't seen them south of quincy on chambers much though, but with the weather getting nice i'm sure you'll start to see plenty of cops holding little stop signs.. :)
