i wouldnt say from hell...but...
kinda started as a sleeper, ended up being loud as shit, so not really sleeper material
71 dart
Engine:
360 with moly skirt pistons ~10:1
ported heads with bigger SS valves
conservative cam w/ hyd lifters
1 5/8-> 1 3/4 step headers to dual 3" headpipes, 2 chamber flows and dumps
holley 750 w/ aftermarket main body
Drivetrain:
727 w/ shift kit, stock converter
3.23 gears
Other odds and ends:
glass hood
alum radiator
3/8 SS swagelok fuel lines
line locks
old school fenton alum wheels w/ drag radials
optima battery
disk brakes w/ lightweight MC
6 cyl front springs with no sway bar
subframe connectors
sweet homemade front air dam (looks like ass, but did a good job of keeping the front end planted at 120+)
Whats left:
ditch the small block for stroked big block with a blower and fuel injection
run 10.0's all day in street trim with 3.23's...:)
Interior has been redone, and it was repainted a few years before I got my hands on it, went from a slant 6 to a stock 360, then to the motor I built
would run 12.80's @ 107 all day back at sea level. I built the motor when I was a junior is HS because the old 360 spun a bearing, then drove it every day for a few years until gas reached a whopping 2.30/gal and i decided it was going to cost too much to drive...haha
I got it when I was 16, so its been 8 years in the making, but been sitting untouched for the last 4...
