Who would be interested in going to see Star Wars Episode III the night it's released? It's a midnight showing and the movie runs about 2 1/2 hours.

I think our best bet is to get a list of names interested and then purchase a block of tickets once we have a final #. Tickets are on sale now and probably won't last too long. Let's try to figure this out in the next few days...

I figured the best place to do this at would be the Westminster Promenade on Church Ranch/104th

I haven't seen the 2nd one yet. Err... the *new* 2nd one. Which maybe is the 2nd of 6 anyway, I'm not sure. I'm not a huge trekie.

Regardless, does anyone have the one where Yoda kicks ass, so I can borrow it? Maybe then I can see the 3rd (6th?) one with confidence.

I've got Episode II Barn.... If I got to Breck's tomorrow, I can bring it down for you to check out.

And FYI... Trekkie refers to Star Trek, not Star Wars ;)

I doubt we'd be able to pull that off. Worse case scenario... one of us has to bite the bullet and get in line a couple of hours early to hold our spot...

We'll see what we can sort out as it gets closer...

As much of a fan as I am... Uhmmm no, not unless you get me drunk first. I'd rather find a female to dress up as Princess Leia in the skimpi outfit and drag her around with a leash on her neck... wait, or one of those twe-lek scantily clad bit... wait that was last year... need something better this year...

Any volunteer's to be Vances bounty (That's he gets paid for pimpin you out, not the other way around)

What I'd rather do is get a video camera and see how much we can't go "Jack Ass" on the crowds in the lines... which might be as entertaining as the movie....

i have always been a SW geek. not the dress-up geeky, but pretty nerdy, and i have been looking forward to this movie for a very long time. who are you guys trying to fool? you know you wanna see it, too. this is really George's last chance to redeem himself after the rubbish of episodes 1 & 2, but i dont really care, its lasers, spaceships and lightsabers that have kept me entertained all these years.

Well, actually that's for the flight home, my friend bought the movie ticket. There's like 30 of us goin. I told 'em we should all rent Star Trek uniforms and see if the freaks in line at the theatre try to kick our asses.

Anybody else working on the 31 piece collection of figurines(sp) from the Burger King kid's meals? No, you don't have to buy the kid's meal, you can just buy the toy. $1.75 ea. So far:

Luke Skywalker
R2D2
X-Wing Fighter
Han Solo
Chewbacca
Millenium Falcon
Yoda
Ewok
Jaba the Hut
Darth Maul
VADER (w/ Anakin inside) - only 5 out of every 200 are this one, and I snagged 2!

Ok gang, here's the scoop...

The tickets are for Theater 15 @ Westminster Promenade.

I'm going to Woody's before the flick so if you wanna drop by and pick up your ticket, feel free. I'll be there around 7pm. See http://cosportbikeclub.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=16661

My best friend is probably going to be at the theater around 10pm to try getting in line early. I'll probably show up soon after as well. Show up when you want but don't wait til midnight. ;) :vader: Give me a call on my cell (303-944-8122) if you can't find me at the Promenade.

Tickets were $9.50... please bring cash :D

See you guys in a few hours. Don't forget your lightsaber or other geeky Star Wars gear

My cousin in Arizona has the largest Star Wars collection west of the Mississippi, or so he did years back. He has been featured in magazines and other write ups. If any of you are Star Wars Enthusiasts you have probably seen pictures of him at the BIG gatherings. He has over 12 full size realistic costumes that he uses when he is invited to gatherings. His "toy" collection is a SITE to see. You name it he has it! I have teased him in the past that he could sell it all and live a work free life. I will try to get some pics of it. His collection room (house) is set up pretty sweet. When you walk in it triggers the Star Wars theme music that automatically starts to play with other cool audio/visual effects. I guess I don't find it as as "geeky" as the Star Trek followers
