I made it out there but didn't quite make it onto the track. A rock ripped my tire on the way into the second creek area and I had a nice flat tire about an hour later. I bought a new tire today and my baby is in the shop getting the tire put on. I hope to be back out riding tomorrow night! Man .. what a week ... when it rains it pours!

Christine, glad you made it home OK & you're getting the tire situation sorted. Sorry you couldn't join us. PM me to set up a time to get those tiedowns back to me; I'll need them for La Junta weekend after next :)

Hey, Marilou, we missed ya! Lisa and I were there, along with Mariah, although her bike died halfway through the session. We think her fuel pump died, but what do we know??

Lisa and I ran for about two hours; weather was perfect as it had cooled off a bit. We were the only ones on the track apart from another girl who was testing an Alfa Romeo race car :up: I think we only took one break the whole evening. After Pueblo, the track seemed tiny :lol:

I spent a lot of time working with Lisa to help her learn the line, which was fun, since riding at 50% allows me to work on some specific drills and excercises. Lisa did awesome, she's gonna be fast on that track once she gets the line down :D (Hmm, maybe teaching the competition isn't such a good idea? :lol: )

I threw in some fast laps too; I was surprised how slow the track felt compared to blasting down the front straight in Pueblo. It was a fun night. You gotta make it next time :D
