Girls' Night Out

ok, so marilou and i have been kicking this idea around and now i'm seeing if anyone else is interested. since there are so many new lady riders on the boards, including me, i think it would be nice if we all got to know each other a bit better.

maybe later on this month we can set a night for us girls to go out. it can be dinner, playing pool, dancing, whatever--doesn't matter to me. you can all even show up at my house, i don't care.

anyway, let us know what ya think.

I can be in if it is not a night the hubby is working (or if I can sucker the sisters into watching, which is unlikely). My hubby is a bouncer on weds, fri and sat nights. If it is regular, any night other than that is good. If it is a once in awhile thing, and weekend dancing and/or whatever could be fun. I have no girl friends, never been clubbing, and turned 21 after I was prego and married. Needless to say, I don't get out much.

Well, I assume most of you are in Denver...but if you want to come down to the Springs I have a pretty large house that I'm fine with inviting you all over to. My neighbors are used to having lots of fast cars parked outside, so fast bikes will be no difference... =)

Could go have dinner...chill and maybe rent some bike videos as somethin to watch or whatever...

I've seen clubs in Colorado Springs ;) but I don't think they're worth attending, so that's more of a Denver thing.

i work every other weekend usually Thursday-Sunday and Wednesdays and Fridays, so any other day i'm free to do our ladies night :)

As for the night out, to accomodate everyone, we'll just have to have dinner first, then more for those who want more. And c'mon girls, who are we trying to kid -QUIET dinner with a bunch girls? I don't think we could, even if we tried. Everything will be great!

Hey ~ I think it would be fun to do a dinner (not quiet) especially with a bunch of fun gals like ourselves!! :) Doing a dinner/drink thing would give us all a chance to get to know each other (better) - since I have only met one other gal from here! Then we can go from there.... cool? :D Now we just have to pick a date that works for EVERYONE! As soon as we do that, then we can discuss what/where we want to go. I would be more than happy to make reservations, call around, or do whatever to get this rollin'.. ;) And carpooling works for me. :) or bike pooling... hehehe :lol: I definitely need more "girl" friends!! I would even be up for taking a day off work (twist my arm) and go golfing or shopping, or whatever.... Lady of Leisure - hey.... I like the way THAT sounds! :idea:

I think you need to start a new topic, create it with a poll (you will see the options at the bottom). I don't think you can add one into an existing thread, at least until they bring out the new version of forum software.
