all right....here's the "offical" information.

this isn't a csc sponsored event, but it's a cool fundraiser my work does. if you go, make sure you find me, so i can get credit for rallying the troops. i'll be the sleepy one on the barney purple ninja.

the following verbage is straight from the poster. my comments are added in parenthesis.

registration begins at 9am at ups commerce city, 5190 ivy street. (post up if you need directions) group leaves the building at 10:30am.

the rally will take a scenic ride along the front range and up boulder canyon to beautiful chipeta park in nederland. there the rallyers will be treated to a cookout, inculded in the entry fee.

the challenge cup will be awarded to the operation with the most participation. (that's why you have to find me so my evil coworkers don't get the credit!)

there is fishing and a playgound available at the park. (just in case you want to strap your tackle box and/or your toddler to the back of your bike ?!?!?!)

entry fee is $15/person or $20/couple. (it doesn't say if you have to be on the same bike to be a couple)

fun for all upsers, friends, and family.
cars welcome, too.

that's all the poster says. i don't know the exact route. i'm sure it will be a somewhat mellow ride. but i also know some of the guys on my shift are real speed demons. i heard there was going to be donuts and juice or coffee in the morning, but it doesn't say that.

huh...i'm a dumbass. i guess when i edited the info, i forgot to put the date back in. it was the 28th. it was pretty fun. about 40 bikes showed up...mostly harleys. very loud through the canyons. i've never ridden in a group that big. it was kinda cool.

I spent my day riding around to various shops looting and pillaging as I went, then I ran into a storm out on the high seas after a stop at a friendly port..

That sounds more exciting than I sat in traffic riding to diff shops looking for some new gloves, stopped by a friends house, and then got rained on.. alot.
