Hey, there's enough of you girls out there to carry me home.. Wait a minute, it wouldn't be as fun as the carry me home from the bar kind of carry me home!
A few of you already know that I wiped out on the weekend. I'm in one piece, Thorn has the pieces of my turn signal. I went into a turn way too fast, and took it down before hitting the sidewalk (yes, on the other damn side of the road!) Who put that sidewalk there, anyway?! Yes, I 've evaluated the series of events that lead up to the crash and the biggest factor wasn't going into the turn at rocket speed (ha ha) - It's just plain I don't know what the hell I'm doing!!!!
So, who would like to have me riding behind, beside, on top of them? I guess I should sit this one out!
You know, in just saying that, I'm glad this is a Girl's Only Forum!
I can see it now..".ya ,you could r :hump: ide on top!"
Such filthy minds!

I wasn't gonna bring it up. Glad you did...I am sure that every last lady out there has gone down at least once?!? I have been thinking about it...and at least you have met your quota on going down...right? Nott'n to worry bout mon! :D :D
I do have to say that the visual has been haunting me...and to see how fast it all happened is very freaky. One second I saw you in my rear view mirror...next second I hear you hitting...slide...slide...slide....curb and stop.
I hope you ride again. I was so proud of us...getting up to 75!!

I just wish I knew better, before it happened. To find out that you have been doing something wrong from the beginning, by crashing, is not the way to go. Jeez, what will I learn next time! :grab: What a kick in the butt!
Thorn, did you actually go 75? I know, the big boys are probably laughing...OOOH 75, stop me now! I had plans to go quicker, but then the thoughts like "Hey, lookout for that BOULDER in the road," stopped me.
Besides, I left you too far behind!!!!!
Yikes, she's gonna hate that!!!!! You know I'm teasing. At least you knew enough to slow down before a turn! At least YOU didn't crash, right?! There, I said it for you. Here, I'll give myself one of these too... :321:
luv ya!

Oh honey...you knew the smack down was coming...right? :321: Oh wait...I don't need to smack you down...you did it on your own...slide slide slide.
To the 75...I seem to remember I passed you a few times!? My speedometer was out but...
And to the boys...I think going from max speed of 30 MPH and maybe 3rd gear...to 75? On an open road...with real cars a big step up for one day!!
Luv ya sweety ;)

Silly girls! Glad you are ok Tania, as I PM'd you already. And Thorn is right, it happens and you learn, and go on. You now know and learned going 35 instead of 65... think of it that way. :P
I am coming over Saturday to get you, so no sititng this one out.. And if we do have to carry you home.. we can always stop at the bar first! :D

Hey, glad you're OK, that's the most important thing. Plastic and parts are replaceable, YOU are not :D
If any of you need a "non-threatening" non-spouse wingman for practice rides, holler. I will gladly pass opn whatever limited stuff I know about this whole silly motorsickle stuff

I'm not going to mention that we were only doing 40 when you passed. Nope, I'm not!
Big deal. We both know you kick ass. Was that you're second time out on your bike? I've obviously had more time to develop bad habits. It doesn't matter how fast you go, right?! It's how well you match the bike with the outfits!!! ;)

Sully you know, I am definitely up for a ride Saturday! Chicks on bikes are either a man's worst nightmare  or his wildest fantasy :hump: ...wahooooooo! As long as we can stop often so I can adjust my makeup and fix my hair..... Oooo I need some more lip gloss...hmmmm...wonder if I can ride in those stillettos?...So who's in? what time? where too? the weather will be far too nice to pass up... C'mon girls don't let me down....      :o :o :o

Tania, I am glad you are ok. I have never (somehow) "wiped out" (been hit by 2 cars though, never gone all the way down), but I can tell you that seeing my bike on the ground would definitly make me cry a lot. If you want someone to ride with sometime, I am available....just, uhhh, no riding next to me ;) . And if you think 75 feels good, wait till the triple digits come along...got poped by the cops for that one a few weeks ago...damned curvy entrance ramps-they shouldn't make them curvy if they don't want speeders. Anyways, I am rambling. I was posting that this is my one weekend a month to work, so I am out on this weekends ride. Sorry!

Hey! Where was everybody? Weren't you supposed to come to my house and drag me on a ride?! I waited all day!
 NOT
Hope you guys made it out. If I had a shred of confidence, I'd be there too!
Bob played Mcgyver (sp?) and popped a turn signal on my bike with the aid of a hockey blade (sorry we're Canadian, eh!). I now have 2 different signals on, but it should work!
I'll putz around tomorrow, avoiding right hand turns!
Later!
Thanks everyone, for your concern about my wipe out. It wasn't too bad, but of course we want to avoid those types of things!
