An excuse to party and BBQ, play- fix and talk about bikes. :bananna:

Date/Time: December 11, Sunday. Anytime after 2pm, until ? Call us to make sure we're still awake :lol: (310-406-9747)

Location: 3953 Pronghorn Meadows Circle - Colorado Springs (By N.Carefree and Power) PM me if you need more directions or call if you're lost.

Maintenance: If anybody wants to work on their bikes (chain, sprockets, brakes, etc) bring your parts, we've got tools.

What to Bring: Any side dish , soda, drinks :guinness: , dessert.

Who's coming? So we can plan on how much meat to buy.

Denver peeps, you better get your butt down here :lol:

It's called "Chivalry" and is apparently not yet dead to everyone. I know, I have to remind myself of that every time I look past my wife's 2002 ST2 at my poor abused 2001 750Sport.

The next day will be an early morning for me, with the toy run and all, but maybe I can come out for a bit.

I've also decided to shelve drinking for awhile, so if anybody wants me to DD them around, just lemme know.

For those with plans Sunday morning, no sweat -- this doesn't have to be a boozefest (that will come later! :D). For Saturday I thought it would be cool if we did a bike-focused afternoon BBQ with some tire-kicking and benchracing; just a chance to meet some fellow riders in the area. So yeah, come on down for a few hours!!!!

I think Paul is trying to offer up a seminar on how to correctly install a 520 Race chain conversion on a 02 Yamaha R1 if I'm not mistaken. Also how to properly bleed some Gafner break lines????? :D

Sorry Paul, but 58 cycle can't get the parts here soon enough! :cry: So it looks like the R1 seminar will have to be posponed for another occassion.

Well, after seeing the weather report on TV it's not looking too good for folks to be on the road, especially coming all the way from Denver. Deb and I were thinking that we should try next weekend instead (Sunday afternoon works best -- office xmas party on Saturday). If anyone wants to come over today anyway then feel free, but let's plan to do the "official" party next Sunday.

I just got back home from Denver, and I25 is snow packed and very slick. I watched 3 vehicles, traveling the same direction as I, and very near me, go off the road!! I believe they were all folks who got too heavy on the brakes, then sideways, then hello ditch. I also saw about a dozen accidents in the clean up stages. I’m glad to be home… Although it’s about time we get some snow!

What parts will he need to get? He's currently out of town until late tonight...but Im sure he would love to get that thing fixed...so I have no excuse to drive it as well :D

well just a small piece of rubber/plastic hose to attach to the bleeder valve. That's really it. That's how I've always done it.
