If you were thinking about a trip to Las Vegas,
Allegiant air has some really cheap flights (on the right days) out of Colorado Springs airport for the next 2 months. $39 each way $80 round trip (does not include hotel although if you choose the right days, those are cheap too).

The weather is warm. Lots of non gambling stuff (shows, rides, attractions, houses of ill repute) or you can gamble.

Hey, how do you check? I was looking at their site and it wants me to log in. I am going to Vegas at the end of October (10/30 to 11/3) and at that price it is way cheaper to fly than it is to drive.

site has always been a little goofy. They only sell one way tickets. So you gotta buy two one way tickets.

Like I'm flying home to fresno, ca in february. It requires me to purchase 4 one way tickets to get round trip home.

The website does not go out that far for price. Normally it would be $49-$69 each way. More for more highly booked days.

One thing though, you live in Denver, there is a new airline, Southwest. They charge $59 each to Las Vegas.

I will be out there and looking for some fun in October/November (actually will be out there for Halloween). You should go then ;)

That sounds like fun, are you going out there with the Hubby?

I'm sure the 2 of us could manage to stay out of trouble, right?

I'm probably going to fly out to Vegas the week before the GP, and pre-game it for a couple 3 or 4 days or so.

Then rent a car, do laundry, and drive out to Monterey for the weekend.

After that, drive back to L.V. and post-game for another 3 or 4, and fly home.

Company is always welcome, and helps with hotel costs, so let a brotha know if you wanna tag along.

Actually, going out there for a car thing (go out there every year) and I went with hubby, daddy, and sister this past November. Should be going with the same this year.
My sister likes to drink, but not do the same things I do, and hubby, well, he is entertained by my antics, but doesn't participate in them...so I need someone to have some fun with :D. Though, I do recall sending text messages while walking the strip saying that I was lost and people needed to find me.
If you go out there, that would be totally cool to go have some fun. There are a TON of pepole out there for that show (in the millions) and hot chics, and rich guys. :D

I am not to sure about there being lots of hotness there since it just was labeled the 2nd fattest city in US.

Maybe, they weren't including the locals

That was just a series of typos Siobhan.

It was supposed to be a ranking of phatest cities in the US.

Oh, and it was supposed to be 1st, not 2nd. Stupid editors.

Carry on.

 I was just reading that same article and thinking "with all the strippers and hookers, how can it be on of the fattest?"

hmmm. maybe it's a collection of all the people from the remaining "fat" cities coming in for a visit and tipping Vegas' scales. Did the chicken come before the egg or the egg before the chicken?

Tawlk amongst yourselves....

They jacked the prices up again to $69 where they were before. They told me when I rebooked my flight the special was going to run for 2 months. Well at least I saved some money. They did say, prices are subject to change.

Still a hell of a deal, especially if you have someone to go with.....at $69 each way you get another round trip for free. Thanks for the heads up.
