I ride at least twice a week. Went up to Estes yesterday. Roads were bad and slow, but passable. Anybody needs a riding buddy in the area let me know. I'm in Eaton. BTW: EPD suck themselves.

PM Princess or Cleveland on this board...the "north central crew" get together quite frequently from what I know, but don't post up on the CSC all that often.

Lol - which way does your house face?? Ours faces west so snow always melts off fast. Downside is a front door hot enough to fry eggs on in the summer. :fire:
Well, I hope you were able to ease past the snow and make it out today - it was GORGEOUS out there!! Goofed around on the eastern back roads today and it was soooo good. Ahhhh, NOW I can face Monday with a much better attitude. :D 'Course, it helps that if it is this nice tomorrow - I shall be able to sneak away again - woohoo!

Funny you say that, cuz i did dig out the bike today...i could tell the battery was getting weak and since its a pain to get the seat off i decided to give it a "charge ride". It was "just right" out with full gear on. I tooled around town and stopped by my moms house over off 402 and then made a nice "Loveland Lap" and came home.....
(Also noticed my tires were very low and filled them back up to spec and the bike handles soooo nice....CHECK YOUR TIRES!!)
PS my house faces north so i get to watch the neighbors snow melt and i still have most of mine.... :|

I'm no fan of sand or ice. US34 and Highway 7 weren't complete trash. It was a slow go though for sure. I rode to church today and plan on getting out tomorrow sometime around noon or later if anyone is going to be out and needs a wingman. :)

Well, what I do know now is that you are lying. You had/have set up a special forum for the Northern riders when you thought CSC had too much drama and when you felt you were better than the rest of us. And, don't even say that it never existed because I was a member for a short period when you were deciding who should or shouldn't be allowed to go on the GAP trip.
I simply informed Turbo that such a forum exists (existed) so he could get to know the "northern group" better. And then you play dumb when you know EXACTLY to what I was referring. I apologize for not knowing that you are too elitest to let some in to get to know you and the other Northern people since you guys hardly post here anymore.

What you fail to mention is that you enjoyed being part of the group and understood/agreed with the reasons for us starting our own. No worries though...
I didn't lie about its existance. I stated the truth. IF it exists and they/we want you to know about it, you'll know. Not much riding going on right now so there aren't many rides for us to invite people to.
Kinda funny we're considered elitest when we post our rides on here and encourage everyone to join us. Hell, we pressure the Northern CO folk so much that they get tired of us offering our rides to them.

Humm this means I need to invest into some snowpants (does icon make some nice overpriced ones?haha) then i need an '06 sled, then i will need some accessories like a sled bag, some sled sliders, bright flashing hill changing flashers, then the big debate is do oil the bottom of sled with synthetic or just plain old oil.....oh man this sledding idea just sounds like another money pit....

TurboGizzmo, good luck with the Northern CO forum. Many have tried to organize rides but for some reason they just never come together.
The North-Central group rides just about every weekend when the weather is nice. We typically will post up in the N-C forum letting people know of the meeting time. We almost always will meet at the BP in Lafayette on the corner of Baseline and 287.
We also meet every week at the Woody's in Broomfield. We've always had an open invite for anyone that wants to come join us

I suggest something like Crisco...as it warms up under friction, it turns liquidy and stays on, then when the sled slows, it cools off again...basically it stays on for awhile. Though, ummm, don't have someone shove you really hard towards a jump when the bottom of a sled/tube is greased (not that I have any experience with hurting myself while doing stupid things ).
 I wonder what something like astroglide would do to the bottom of a tube?

TurboGizzmo - maybe we should carpool/caravan up to Woody's sometime? When the weather turns nice again, you should come out for a ride with my pal and I. We are pretty mellow. I'm at 4k+ on the bike and still have some "firsts" to get under my belt. :) My first I-25 ride was a lil  . We rode up to Cheyenne with the wind blowing like a bitch-kitty, my stock tires (still on, btw), on grooved pavement, with semis roaring by.
