Okay riding may not be as good as sex but dayum, it is a verrrrrrrry close second!
What an awesome day. Not quite as warm as predicted (at least it didn't feel like it) but no wind and enough wide open road that I felt like I should have smoke afterwards 'cuz it was that good.
Hope y'all had some quality time today too. :bananna:
Mmmm, c'mon summer...I am so ready!

Well, since I dont have a bike I didnt get to ride today, but seeing all the bikes made me do a little shopping today! :) I was debating whether or not I wanted one, but today definitely made me want one bad! Looking online at a few bikes so we will see what happens when I get my tax return!

Rode up to Estes with a buddy on Sunday afternoon and you're right. The weather was awesome. 36 was in fine shape too.

Sure it counts...it's all good. I took the bike out for a lil spin myself yesterday early evening (yay, longer days). Damn, it's fun!

damn wind today scared me too much to ride... but last night was great night for riding around town, took the lady out for a ride for the first time, dunno how people just pick up anyone for a ride, having a passenger takes some getting use too and team work :)

hm... do you think it's safe to have a passenger when you just started riding yourself?

Lol, edited my post - when I say "the girl", I mean the bike. Pretty gutsy taking riders.
I will never take a passenger - don't want to be responsible for someone else's safety...and I'm on a 250 ...and on the balls of my feet...
and no one wants to be my bee-yotch (damn that's the second time I've said that today  )!!!

My thoughts on the passenger:
Normally i like to ride alone, even in my Supra just in case something happens...racing with a passenger in a car can get you an attempted manslaughter ticket
Also I have a pretty strict no passenger rule (being still in the n00bie stage)...now my gf is an experienced passenger and had full gear on. All in loveland on all back side streets going a max of 35mph.
What i dont understand is my ex roommate who have had NO formal training would just pick up random n00bie passengers and go riding around with them right after getting there bike, i have no idea how that did that.
But than even the most experienced rider can take a passenger out and get creamed by a GeoMetro not paying attention..... ;)

 10:30 is NOT too early - suck it up!! I need that whip smiley here! (see this is why no one wants to be my bee-yotch).
Lol, I had to get up at the freakin' break of dawn to make it to the Morrison Conoco the one time I went...and that was even with being late to Boulder for my escort. Then poor Lomax had to take care of my slow arse all day.
 Maybe peeps never see the Northerners 'cuz we're all night owls?

why don't you folks put a weekend ride together (not Tooooo early though). Explain that it'll be a noobie ride so you won't get any hardcores there and see what happens. I'd show up if you had a destination.

I think taking passengers is part of the fun. You get to share how awesome motorcycling is with people that probably would never learn to ride on their own. Take, for example all the sorority girls that live in the house I work in... :-)
Anyway, they always get my full kit whenever we go out for more than just a jaunt down to Coldstone and I usually take things a lot less stupid than how I normally ride. Although I'm still in college and I admit do doing some stuff I probably shouldn't have with a girl on the back...

I think it's fine to take passengers... when you are an experienced rider. But to each their own....

I took the passenger pegs off Britney about a day after learning were my toolkit was.
2-up just isn't my preferred riding style. Not a confidence or experience thing, or anything like that, it's just not "ideal" for spirited riding.
However... if the time calls for just a nice cruise somewhere, with things dialed down a couple notches, I'll put'em back on for somebody. Having the extra gear is a must.

TurboG, I'll head up wherever with ya. I'm not allll that experienced (been riding for a year and change) and my closest riding buddy just moved to Longmont.
That goes for the rest of ya, I'm pretty much always down for a ride if I'm not doing anythign!
