Funny that Monky would post about the weather AND he was actually riding in it. We were nice and warm all day.

Yeah a few of us did the Mt Evans ride on Saturday and, while it wasnt snowing, it was sure as hell cold! I must of hit a million potholes and dodged quite a bit of slush and puddles. I think I'll wait till July to try that one again.

A few of us went up towards Blackhawk and then towards Kingston Peak looking for a new camping spot, found a great place too bad its still snowboard-able conditions up that way  It was coming down pretty good up that way too-- that spot will have to wait till August :)

Oh and please post pics :D

Yeah, as always those two or three 75-85% right handers are gravelly and filled with holes. The real thing you have to look out for...and trust me you'll see it... is a large section of the road, cut out and filled in with some dirt on both sides of the road & also some potholes large enough to eat an entire motorcycle tire...but other than that... great times :)

Woot for being the sweeper and not going 95 into one of the potholes... i chose 75 instead.

We know ya do, you also like to misspell, but we love ya anyways :)

(P.S. Not kidding about pot-holes or dip in road :))

:spit:

I wouldn't say 75-85% had gravel. It wasn't bad at all. But maybe your idea of gravel is different than mine. :dunno: Just had to watch out for the occasional pothole and yes, that section that was gone sucked. KC racked his nuts pretty good on that one, but good thing the token Messican was there for make KC feel better. Good job Rian

lol, alright the 75-85% is what he was talking about, I meant to say in the two or three right handed 75-85 degree turns they were gravelly. But no I think there were only 2 or 3 patches of gravel that gave me trouble, everything else was pretty much outta the way if you just chose a decent line.

I've come to find my american keyboard doesn't have the degree mark right there :P

... I don't think you were going 75.. and I'm with wicky.. while there were a few spots with gravel.. and a few with rather large chunks of rock.. it wasn't bad at all for this time of the year..
