In case you missed the big graphic at the top of the page, Fay is now a CSC supporter (and has taken over the exclusive "official dealership" spot)! Jason White, Fay's General Manager, is registered on the site now and is committed to making sure everyone has a positive experience at their shop.

Now, I know some of you have experienced some past issues with Fay; I did address this with Jason prior to allowing them to advertise on our site, and he has assured me that those problem areas have been taken care of at a core level. If anyone has an issue with Fay, he'll make sure it gets resolved as well. I wouldn't direct your dollars to them if I didn't truly feel that they were going to treat you fairly and with respect -- the same as any other CSC advertiser.

Please head down there and check 'em out! Be sure to tell them you're a CSC member too... We'll be planning some special events with Fay in the coming months as well, so stay tuned.

To really make us happy some of the other sponsors gave us a discount. Does this one? Put your money where your mouth is, at least that is what I have been told. :)

I have always been told not to judge a book by it's cover and not to take a lot of stock in people pissing and moaning on forum's :D

Jason and the crew down at F.M. are a great bunch of people, like it was mentioned a lot has changed internally recently and even if your friend's, sister's, cousin's homie had a bad experience once, give them a shot, let them earn your trust (and money) and you may be very surprised how cool they are 8)

So what happened with 'twin peaks'?

what do you mean..... :?

...... oh I get it, Colorado must be one of those places where you can only like one shop and have to trash/flame all the others? :D

I have known the crew down at F.M for a long time and Jason is a friend of mine, they do a great job, as do we at T.P.

I believe in giving credit where credit is due, maybe that is a novel concept around here, but where i come from (which is far far away) when one shop lifts it game, others will follow and that can only be a good thing for the consumer (that means you guys/gals ;) )

The parts dept. has always given a 10% discount to CSC members. I just don't think anyone has mentioned it a long time.

I don't know about bike discounts though.

Although Monky is new to this country and English is just his second language, I think he was asking what happened to Twin Peaks being the official dealer of the site.

A question I also have.

BTW Honda sucks... Just a general notice. :)

Oh and Tayna is 100% correct. The have always(at least for a long time)given the CSC a 10% discount. The also gave MRA a 10%(I think 10%)

All you gotta do is ask.

Nothing bad happened with Twin Peaks, they just decided to focus their advertising efforts elsewhere. No harm no foul, well Wahoo looks kinda funny but otherwise they're good folks too.

Personally I think the whole level of customer service with bike shops in Colorado is on the upswing; as one shop does it better and takes the business, the others will as well. Fay also has decades of history in Colorado, and I think the recent issues some people have had are quite possibly just a transient phase - they've realized the issues and resolved them, and made the commitment to both myself and this club that the customer experience is their top priority.

I am not sure about a discount for CSC members Rich, unless Jason speaks up in here that's on my list of things to chat about with him. We used to get a semi-official price cut in parts and accessories, but with all the changes around there I'm not sure if they still know to honor that. Bear in mind though that price alone is not the defining factor in what makes a shop great - I've been to or seen plenty of shops that had great prices, but absolutely horrid service - and I spent a little more somewhere else to be treated like a person. I'm not saying price isn't important, but when I think of what a shop or dealer can provide, I'm not solely looking at the bottom line. The relationship with them has intrinsic value as well, and I think that is what Fay is really pushing to succeed in.

EDIT: Yeah, the 10% thing. I'll make sure it's still on as usual...

Lets just say they STILL have issues. They fixed them, and I lived thru it, so all is good with the world. (except for those that hate me) :P

And this was VERY recent.

Very cool 8) Thats what I am talkin about. :)

I have not had any problems with them and I have purchased a few things from them. I think you find problems with all shops and you always will. How they handle the problem and the customer is how they develop a good/bad reputation. 10% always helps :)

I recommend talking to "Paul (aka: Longrider)" if you need parts from Fay Meyers. He is super knowledgable on motorcycles; especially GSXR's. He's a mod at another forum and guy knows his stuff. I've always received a 10% discounts on parts from Feys :D

I'm concur with Nate, Paul Donaldson is a very knowledgeable guy about bikes period! I think Paul is more of the "computer guy" at Fay's, but if you have questions, he will more then likely know the answer!

My problem with Fay has always been with their attitude in the sales department. It has been at best poor, at worst downright rude and obnoxious. Granted there have been times I've gone in just to look - but there were several occassions I've gone in legitimately looking for a bike over the years during my dry spell between my first bike and my Daytona during which their attitude in my search for a good used bike kept me from shopping with them.

I have noticed a bit of a better attitude since Lisa Schomp bought them out... but I'm hoping this decision to associate with the CSC means they are legitimately dedicating themselves to improving their sales staff's attitude when someone from the club is in the market for a bike... or even just looking.

Used to have a major problem with them. But I have been back over the past few months and I am impressed. Never knew of the CSC discount but now that I do, next week I will be headin over there for some new gloves :)

To add, I have always had great service with Fay. I just purchased my third bike from Joe Jarvie, he always works hard to get the best deal. Each time I have bought from the parts dept, they have always acknowledged a discount with the club........overall, great move by CSC and Fay! 8) They have been working hard to turn things around, and I hope it serves all of us customers well.......

I go to FM only because it is closer to me in SE Aurora. Last summer I went in wanting to buy a bike. I was basically ignored by sales until I asked for help. I told them I had the bank approval for whatever I wanted. The sales guy told me he could get a better rate. I said ok. He has me wait for over an hour (said it would take 10-15 minutes). Then he says, to go home he'll call me tomorrow (?!?). I'm already approved. They never call and I buy my bike elsewhere. Even now when I go for parts and look at the bikes, they ignore me like I have the plague.

As for the 10%, it is hit or miss. Last year I got it. This year the 2 different times I got parts (within the last 2 months or so) they said they had no idea what I was talking about.

I'll keep an open mind and see if things change, but so far I'm not impressed.

I'm with you on being ignored.. recently. Not to name any names, but someone looking to buy an MV.. not a single sales person in over an hour as we stood there looking at everything on the bike, this was more than one time. This was about.. a week give or take..

I tried to order a grilled cheese at Fay....
You know the rest.

Good work on the hookup though. It's never a bad thing to have a shop with the history of F.M, onboard with the CSC.

The nice thing is, if they do have issues that still displease customers, nobody on here is shy about posting it.

Well.......according to Ralph I might be funny looking :P but..............
Clarkie has already voiced basically what I am going to say. We at Twin Peaks decided to do some other things for advertising and getting our name out there. We have only had the operation for a little over 1 year now and things are looking great. We are still a CSC sponsor and still offer the same outstanding service that has been promised since day one.
The fact there is a new "official dealership" is great. I am glad other shops are stepping up and wanting to make their businesses better. Sure, they are "competition" but as Clarkie stated when one shop improves another one might....thus picking up the image of the whole powersports industry, which as all of you know is not the greatest anywhere. The team at Twin Peaks have vowed to change the perception on the industry...at least at our facility and bring much of the same values, concepts, and practices that we have used at Stan's Automotive for over 32 years. Our customer service will go beyond anything out there...that I can guarantee, but we are also fair, honest and straight forward in doing so. I read the shop experiences forum often and you can count on one hand the number of positive experiences.....it would take my entire extended family to count the negative ones. Luckily we have had great experiences at Twin Peaks with those of you who have chosen to do business with us.....THANK YOU AGAIN!
I hope things with Fay go well.....and as stated above this could help several shop move forward. Its not about always bad mouthing another facility....but feedback is always welcome.
Just remember they don't have a Clarkie :D
