I would go to denver. This place is cool, they converted an old rollerskating rink into a store pretty big... http://www.performancecycle.com/

We sometimes put together a ride and ride up the back way (I guess there are several back ways... in other words anyway other than I-) through the mountains or more along the plain east of I-25 we usually hit Fay Myers as well.

If you are interested we could make a ride of it sometime.... There is a place in the Springs just east of Powers on Platte (Torque). Not a lot in the springs

Depending on what you are planning to get for your gix, there are onlya portion of things that are small enough to leave that shop in a backpack...all the fun stuff requires a car. :D
