Just got a *saweet* dirtbike courtesy of Santa (aka me :lol: ), so I'll be heading out with the dirt-riding boys I know every opportunity.

KEWL-NESS on the new bike! No prob about being a dirt newbie. I'm a street newbie, so maybe we can swap some skills at the road track someday?

( ... Speaking of road track, I heard that the motard series is gonna run immediately after some of the road races this MRA race season, so I would totally love some *volunteer subjects* such as yourself to help dial in the new camera at the various road race tracks before this season begins, but I'm totally getting off topic here .... )

ANYHOW... I just checked out the weather for this weekend and it looks like TOTAL POOPOO CRAP. You wouldn't want to ride tomorrow or Friday, would you? The weather looks REALLY nice for those days!

Just as you pass under the white arch to enter Pueblo Motorsports Park, there's that short dirt road on the left that leads up to the parking lot for the old motorcross track. There's a gate just before that parking lot now. Let's meet near that gate at, say, around 11 AM on Friday morning? (We can totally adjust the time/place if something else works better, though.) I'll be driving a gold Toyota pickup with a little green Kawasaki in the back. There'll prolly be two other guys there in a red Toyota pickup riding a red Honda and a blue Yamaha. I'll PM you with a cell number just in case. How does that time/place work for you of Friday? DIRT RIDING IS FUN STUFF!!!

CJ Rider, what a fantastic day!!! :up: Great to meet you & the guys, thanks for taking the time with the newbie ;) :lol: - you *rock* on that 2-smoke! I had a blast - and there was definitely a *huge* improvement over the course of the day - in my mental confidence if nothing else! :D :lol:

I still can't quite believe I got up that hill and over that rock; *and* I love the fact that I could crash 5 times in one day and ride away without a repair bill !! :D :D :D :lol: Have a horrible feeling there might be some healing time involved though :| :)

You missed some comedy moments though - after you guys left we went exploring. At one point a little rise was coming up so I gunned it a little, thinking "I can catch a little air here". I did, but guess what - it wasn't a flat top, it was just a raised, rutted road with a drop the other side and a *lot* of bushes in the ditch after it !!!! :lol: :lol: :shocked: <----- apparently my eyes were this big as I dropped onto the other side :lol: :lol: but I managed to ride it out * and* avoid the shrubbery 8)

Fun times. Let me know when you guys are going again :D

Yup yup; TOTALLY AWESOME; I have never SEEN anybody pick up dirt biking as fast as you! :rock: That rocky canyon climb you rode at the end of the day was tough, but apparently not as tough as you! The boys and I had a great time meeting up and riding with you folks; we'll TOTALLY do it again as SOON as the weather cooperates!!! :D Oh yes, and definitely let me know if ya'll do a practice day at the road track; I'm totally looking forward to dialing in the camera in preparation for race season too!
