... Ammunition.

Anyone interested in meeting up Tuesday at the Shootist after work (say 6'ish?) for a little high velocity indoor stress relief??? 9mm, 40cal, 357sig... all diameters and grains welcome alike!

Last week was uber-stressful - albeit with a payoff that was nearly worth celebrating... so I figure blowing off a few hundred rounds might be a good bit of stress relief for the spirit and get me ready for the final chapter of a long drawn out saga.

Anyone care to join?

Mondays are a late night for me, but the rest of the week is open. We can go to the shootist Tues. and see about later this week. That way I can kick off your one good mirror!

:) Sounds fun Vance-- just an FYI for the lady shooters-- its ladies night on Tuesdays if I'm not mistaken so its half off (generally around 6 bucks) for us to shoot- we just shot off 100-200 rounds this past weekend so we may not be in unless they let me shoot off the 12 gauge :D

Hey, when you kick it off...kick it my way. I (still) have no mirrors, and am now 1 for 4 for getting pulled over on the new bike (got pulled over on Saturday, which was my 4th time out on the bike). Wouldn't have known I was getting pulled over if I hadn't seen the car in front of me pulling out of the way.

Well my current plan of action is to get out of work and head home to change, get the gun, pick up some ammo, and head to the range - so with typical traffic and such --- it'll be some time after 6pm when I get there - so I'm sure the 6:30 timeframe is about right for you two (Mel & Playa...errr... David).

Hopefully I'll see you there.

I'll be there at 6:30 after I go home. I'll give you a call matt, if you don't answer I'll just run your bike over until you come out!

Sounds like fun. Too bad 1) i work in longmont now, so that's a HELLUVA drive, and 2) this is one of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time, and 3) my gun is dirty (yeah, I know, shame on me!). Have fun tonight though!

we just shot off 100-200 rounds this past weekend so we may not be in unless they let me shoot off the 12 gauge :D

That's all? I put more than that through my .308 alone. Actually, this was a slow weekend. If it hadn't been raining, we usually do 1,000 or more.Anyone interested in meeting up Tuesday at the Shootist after work (say 6'ish?) for a little high velocity indoor stress relief??? 9mm, 40cal, 357sig... all diameters and grains welcome alike!

For that price you can go shoot at Cherry Creek's outdoor range. Show some skill and shoot pistols on the rifle range. They have pistol alley's as well but...

Long range is the only way to go...

It was defiantely good to see some new faces and of course some familiar ones out there on the ranges.

I put up my 2 last targets as my first decorations in my new office downtown here. :) I'm sure upper management will love that! Or it'll make sure they don't come visit too often... one of the two!

Not really... its BETTER! :D
It didn't have all those pesky frame problems the Berrettas were plagued with when Berretta rushed the 92 off the lines for military issue and ended up with cracked frames and slide problems after only a few thousand rounds.

Taurus (which was a Berretta factory until some local venture capitalists bought it out through some rather interesting political maneuvering) found the slide issues before they ever rolled the first models off the line and corrected them, if not improved them, to ensure there were no frame or slide issues.

That's why I've owned 3 of the 92/99 model to date and never had one problem that was gun caused. Ammunition related yes - but never gun related. My first 2 I put well over 20,000 rounds through each. This new one already has about 2500 rounds through it already.

They may be cheap disparaged regularly - but I'll certainly defend their quality control and reliability to any idiot dumb enough to break in the house as they bleed out on the floor.
